Exactly. Sponsorship isn't based on how good a skier is, its based on how strongly they can show product. Look at Kye Peterson years ago (this is not meant to hate on Kye by any means, he rips). Kye was one of Rossignol's most visible younger skiers. At the time, he wasn't up to the level of the bigger park pros (when he filmed mostly park) such as Tanner Hall, or CR Johnson, but he rode at the bigger competitions and had a lot of influence wherever he went. Therefore most of the skiers at Keystone will not get the recognition some say we deserve, because some of us don't enjoy competing, or want to spend the time filming.
