the tables at my hill have no lips

this is making me so mad. the tables at our terrain parks have no lips on them, we are not allowed to build lips for them and the landings are so fuckin short. we only have these two small tables and and 2 hips, one big one small. we tried to build kickers and each time we do ski patrol tears it down, even one going into 6' of pow. so i ask the patroler, 'whats more dangerous, this kicker or this 20' rail?' he told me he couldnt answer that...FUCK! what what should we do?

p.s. the halfpipe sucks ass..the walls are so uneven

Tell your management at the place the jumps would be much more safer if they groomed them with lips.

You think that bad, we have 2 jumps. One sucks, and like 2 rails + a tabletop. Midwest sucks.

thats the problem though, theyre scared of everyone suing their pussy asses. they cant build them that high and they wont make them with lips even tho every jibber told them 'a good park is a safe park.'

at leats you have tables tho,we dont have any,our biggest jump is maybe 3 feet high,our so called park is uphill with 2 flat rails and a rainbow which is 1 foot high so its pointless to hit it,

 
yea you said you had a pipe..... ive never seen a pipe in person...... ive only seen then on vids..... but whatever..... our hill has a nice enough jump but thats it.... so just talk to the management and say its not safe to have tebles with no lips cuz peole will clear the landing and brake half the bones in there body

if the hill puts up signs and makes the users sign disclaimers I think insurance isn't as high, and no one can sue, so try and find a good solution and consult management about it..

Man i hear ya on this one.where i go is no different they tear ever jump down and there are no lips on any jump. My advice is hike out of bounds and make your jump there. That waythy dont have to worry about any law-suit because your not in bounds.

P.S.dont get hurt out of bounds they wont come get ya.

have someone watching for ski patrol and just make a lip on the jump. It won't take too long and if you get outta there before the ski patrol sees you they probably won't notice the lip.

I agree with the replies that say talk to the management. You'd be surprised at what you can accomplish if you speak up. Or maybe talk to the snow-cat operators that make the jumps. If you can get him on your side, it may help your case.

Is it really that bad in NY? The areas in Vermont have excellent parks, and even some of the smaller place in NH have ok parks.

 
ya, signs, wavers, warnings... none of that will stop you from sueing, unless your me. Apperently they wrote a report about how i have been warned for doing inverts to many times and i have No rights to sue anyhill(in alberta)with the same insurence plan as them...
