Hi Newschoolers! I have always been really stoked on watching peoples summer rail edits, it's fun to see all the creative setups and new tricks people come up with in their backyards in the summer. This summer I have gathered some really cool prizes from my sponsors and I'm launching a summer rail edit contest. I hope everybody who continues skiing in the summer will participate and together we'll make this into a really fun thing for everyone!

Hyped! Will try to film and submit something when I get back home in august

Stoked man, looking forward to see your entry! The summer rail edit that you made last summer was sick!

How are you going to determine the winner of the contest? (ex. Best trick, most style, best editing, best setup)

My friends and I are going to choose the winners, we're looking for creativity of sick tricks and rail setups, style, editing and the general impressiveness of the edit.

How you feel about people using ice rink snow in their setups/edits? Such a sick idea, looking forward to seeing all the entries

Can me and my friends post an edit of all of us and then split the prize if we win something or do we each need our own edit?

Yeah you can post an edit with your friends or you can do a self-edit, whichever you prefer to do.

Thanks, I think we are going to end up each sending in our own edits, however, we only have one setup. It's okay if we all use the same setup, right?

I'm trying. If I actually finish my drop in I can guarantee a shot of a rail around 73 feet long, 83 if I build another rail. I'm gonna need a hell of a lot of time to get that shot though....

I look forward to seeing ur entry, always got them creative tricks

:) you made me feel all fuzzy inside. Yours is guaranteed to make the crowd go bananas. Also I found another 5 foot segment of rail so a possible grand total of 88 feet

we will see who will have the longest rail haha, working on finishing a 95 ish footer

Dam, only ever NS contest opened to euros, and I don't have a setup...(well i did make a sktetchy ass snowblade droppin and rail in my bedroom, but it was mostly a fail...)

Kevin, are you around Les 2 alpes this summer??

Can we use skate rails or rails from an actual terrain park, or do we have to use a homemade pvc and wood rail?

I doubt the rail itself would matter as long as youre hitting it with a setup and not snow

You should post an edit of that, I would be stoked to see an indoor rail edit! Creativity is important in this contest ! :)

I'm not sure yet I'm able to go to Les Deux Alpes this summer, but I would be really stoked to go there again for sure! It's always good times there.

Yep, the rail material can be anything (wood, plastic, metal etc.) as long as you're not skiing on snow.

Unfortunately I ditched most of the parts, and left my blades at the mountain...

Yeah the park this years looks really fun, they added a lane in the jib section (rail/boxes section). I remember seeing you a few times buttering it hard last year :D

Threads! I no longer have a backyard, but I remember the good days of pvc and AstroTurf. Good times. Good luck all!

Want to give it a go with me? ;)

Hell yeah dude, I'm gonna try to arrange something where I get a couple of buds over and we are gonna try to stack some shots and just shred the setup so Ill hit you up if that plan develops any further!

the 90 footer is driving me to the brink of insanity, at least 11 hours of tries so far.
