The Summer Bod.

I live right on a river that everybody kayaks on and my mom has a kayak. I've never gotten into it but I think I might give it a real chance this summer.

The last statement is 100% correct. Cleans are all over any football teams lifting program. Ive played all my life and from high school to college we clean like crazy.

As for my goals... Keep doing what Im doing. Spring football is currently underway and my cardio is coming back. Stay where Im at weight wise (230ish) and keep at it.

As for the diet thing, I just attempt to eat healthy, dont have a specific diet. Its also almost impossible to "eat healthy" in the shitty college cafeteria we have.

i agree, but if you start now you can see muscle growth in like 6-8 weeks, depending on how much water you drink and sleep you get, as well as your diet and how much you work out.

he's not kidding this actually works. The only problem is you're going to have to get them from the black-market or a third world country where they could be carrying pathogenic bacteria and such

Summer bod, here I come!

mountain biking gets the arms pretty strong. Don't necessarily see it, but you definitely feel it.

i guess that's besides the point sorry.

I've lost almost 5 lbs over the past 3 days. Fuckin food poisoning. Ive eaten like one small meal and only drank water and have puked pretty much everything up. Besides (before) that, I was running 4-6 miles a day, and playing lacrosse, so I'd say I'm on track

Been there. Puked 9 times in like an hour cause my fucking idiot brother can't cook a god damn premade mo fucking hamburger >.< GAWD

Sketchy ass fish tacos from a truck in somewhat rural Hawaii. Puked at least 25 times and didn't sleep at all Sunday night. And haven't really eaten since Sunday. And puked again today. I got it really really bad

Marching around for 16 hours a day with a snare on is gonna have me looking fucking beautiful by august. In the mean time I'm running and stretching.

Nothing really. It's pretty awesome how I can stay in such crazy shape and do nothing outside of my athletic hobbies to stay that way.

ahh gotcha. yea if you dont know form ahead of time it'd take awhile before you could actually use it to build strength without sacrificing form.

but as far as lifts go, i know you said something about working your core...I'd say a full snatch is probably the best lift to help build up core/stabilizing muscles.

i'm staying the course. same way i do year round. because i do it for myself. not in the pursuit of vanity. getting the girl is the reward for caring about your health. not the other way around.

i'm trying to get fit to start rowing in college so i'm trying to row and do abs as much as possible. maybe i'll go to the gym a few times and do some leg and arm workouts but those are pretty pointless, i just need my cardio up and by doing that my arms and legs will get stronger

i've been mountain biking and doing ab ripper and now that the water's warm i'm gonna get out in a single

i don't give a shit about my beach body though. i've been in a relationship for a year and if i was morbidly obese she'd still love me but i still try to look good

nice arms are sooo sexy

on that note im working on my beach bod as well ;) but i always am doing tons of sports/training so nothing new..

Love is indeed powerful...but if you let yourself be that big, you'd probably be a completely different person than the one she loves

it takes serious willpower and effort to get that fat

besides i'm not planning on it, nor am i planning on getting chubby or dirty, the contrary actually

i've started eating fruit in place of junk food and i'm going to do as much skating and tumbling as possible to keep myself in a performance kinda fitness instead getting huge

i'm also too lazy go to a gym

if you are some what in shape you can really watch your diet and do p90x or insanity and i bet you look real in shape after that.

If you got like 15lbs to drop you are fucked.

fill up a gallon and carry it around with you until you are done. its really not that hard besides the fact you will piss probably 20 times.

do it.

it's good exercise (mostly upper body/core exercise though), its fun, it's scenic, and if you want a challenge you can make it one.

i live on cape cod all summer right where the A marker is on this map

everything to the right of the far sandbar is the open ocean, so me and my friends will either kayak out to strong island marsh, or kayak half the way there and chill at the tiny peninsula thing you can see. it's pretty cool actually because at high tide it becomes an island, and at low tide there is the walkway over to it.

in terms of real challenges though, sometimes we'll kayak straight out to the break in the sandbar. the waves are perfect rollers because they're all getting funneled into the tiny channel, so we basically chill out there and surf the waves, and once were done we pull our kayaks onto the beach and just chill.
