alright, so im sure many of you have seen the extreme sports show '54321'. how many of you out there like or dislike this show?

personally i think it's a pathedic excuse for an extreme sports show. however they have that hot ass girl on it who acts like she's down with everyone. we all know they only give her shit and invite 54321 to their parties so they can see the hot bitch.

if you feel like this show sucks, write to fox sports net and tell them what the fuck is up. i mean that's two etreme sports shows that have nothing to do with our sport. FUCK BLUETORCH AND FUCK 54321. however i must say it's nice learning about the other sports.

Ya alot of them suck there's this one I can't remember the anme of it but the host is the biggest fucking dork and they never have any pros on and they themselves suck ass at every sport they do. There was one good show i saw though that was completly dedicated to PBP and went to my home mountain(seymour) and followed them around while filming the episode was hosted by Mike Douglas too i think.

it seems like everytime i turn one of those shows on it is allways surfing or moto cross.... the too sport that i don't like but one time in this profile of a resort some guy on skis did a 9 and a d spin... it was the best thing they ever had on.

behind the action is alright, they give skiing respect, but the problem is that skiing isnt on it often enough, its always motox or skateboarding etc. and the host isnt that hot either.

Moto x is possibly the worst sport ever. I hate it sooo much, I mean sure they go really high, but they are powered by motors, in my opinion that takes away some part of the sport, i can't really put my finger on it.

I should have made it more clear that I do have respect for how high and how much balls it takes, but what i meant is that there is not enough variety in the sport. In the competitions that i watch on tv from time to time, all of them eihter do a backflip, or some thing that involves getting off the bike in midair, and sometimes landing sitting on the handlebars. I realise how scary that must be, but they only go off jumps, and do the same tricks over and over again. Skiing has so much variety. I didn't mean to say that I dont think they have balls.

all skiers do is spin and flip, slide rails too, thats all, and alot of shit looks close to the same. skiing is still sick though. and moto is the most hardcore sport ever, those guys go bigger than anyone. and if you aren't impressed by a dude that throws down a backflip with a 200 pound machine, then maybe you should pick up bowling

he's not saying it isnt a sport, he's saying that the repetitiveness of the sport is what he doesnt like, and i agree. although it is insane that that mike metzger dude throws backflips with a bunch of different variations over giant gaps, it gets tiring to hear the announcers go nuts every time he does it, event after event after event. and the novelty of the backflip has definitely worn off at this point.

i'll give it to the moto guys there crazy but i can't stand the shows becuse all they show is like only moto or surfing with a little bmx and skateboarding and I wish theyed hit all the sports not just a few and then do those all the time

im in this huge argument with my surfer friend that ski movies are more interesting to watch, and he wont give in. I think hes in denial to the radness of skiing. But surfing is funner than it looks

at least 54321 shows skiing sometimes. Sure the hosts are corny and the show is lame. I still watch it. There isnt much better on tv. I also love staring at Leann Tweeden.

i think skiing will become mainstream but not as poser infested as other sports simply due to cost.

Think about it, you can go to like dicks or walmart or wherever and buy plastic snowboards, skateboards, rollerblades, cheap bikes, everything except skies. It would probably be pretty hard to make a cheap ski out of plastic with the bindings, boots , and skis.

hey, dont fret i've got a cousin that is interning for 54321, and i've been passing a few ideas around with her, like fuck moto x, and get more skiing skating and snowboarding

the thing is that the only channel i watch on tv is the xtreme sports network. i watch like 5 or 6 shows a day, and most of that is surfing and moto x. and i still watch these shows. im not saying i dont like moto x, i give it respect, i know i cant do anything on a moto x bike amd i have tried, so of course i respect these guys. its just that once you become exposed to something and see the same thing over and over, show after show, day after day, of course i will become a little bored of it.

oh and gomer is partially right, i am a pretty skinny guy, but i've been on a bike before and realize the difficulty of the sport.

and if youre sick of all these shows that seem the same, watch a show called free spirit. its so good, they just take seggy's from ski, snowboard, skate, bmx etc vids and play em on the show. it's the best show on tv.
