What are some songs that they have...my friend is making a cd and cant find any of their songs...i think its like english rap.

 
you'd have a much easier time finding them if you actually knew how to spell it correctly: 'the streets'

its english hip hop/electronic hybrid, its one person (mike skinner) and he is among my favorite artists.

you probably wont like it but if you want other good english hip hop check out dizzee rascal

most of their songs seem a little empty i think. try downloading "have you come to realize?" by the kleptones, it's a mash up of one of their songs and do you realize by the flaming lips. it works so well together and sounds amazing

i really dont like them for some reason. i just like more of a musical sound. that probably doesnt make sense, but like ive liked death cab for a really long time and it just was different than what i expected.

of montreal and the concretes are really great. the concretes are becomming super popular after that damn target commercial though. like when i bought their cd i had to shop around and eventually find it like a half hour from my house beacuse no one had it. now its like at target and shit.

sooo ... the streets are freaking awesome. good songs to get: dry your eyes, it's too late, it was supposed to be so easy, you're fit but you know it.

alright one thing to knwo about the streets. the second album is good, real good, but the first is so much better. turn the page, sharp darts, weak become heroes, blinded by the lights, the entire original pirate material cd is priceless.

i think the second album is better simply by the fact that its a concept album. hes a good storyteller for sure.

the songs 'turn the page' and 'stay positive' are among some of the best hip hop songs of all time.
