For sure man. Im so stoked on this place. I mean the Irish have their bars here and Ive always said we needed a beer garden. My german dreams have come true. All the beer and wurst I can consume. There really is a god *wipestearsaway*.

And Ashley...we WILL be riding bikes down there...getting back...well, thats an entirely different story. BAHAHAHA

Im hoping they have Das Boot there. I love the Boot when others have no idea how to drink out of it. Hilarity ensues

gotta make this brief, but i thought i'd stoke real quick on not going to jail the other day for driving an unregistered car without a license. i was riding dirty, too, so that would have gotten really bad if they'd pulled me out. long story short, i was in a traffic jam, cop was behind me over 15 minutes before he hit the lights for expired tags, turned out my car was unregistered and i don't have a license. for whatever reason he just let me go with a ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle. he told me that he should have taken me in, but i think the fact that i moved here recently and the car's insured... and that it would have been an enormous pain in the ass to tow my car out of that traffic... played to my favor. stoked on being free!

so, last night Lena and i woke up to some girls screaming hysterically on the sidewalk outside my window at 4am. we tried to ignore them and shut the window, but after 20 mins i was getting pissed, so i got up to look out the window to figure out what was going on. from the sounds of it, someone caught someone else cheating and a girl got the shit kicked out of her and she was screaming at a guy and a girl in a car... i wouldn't normally do this, but i was pretty pissed about being woken up at 4am and one of the girls looked like she could use a bit of medical help, so i called the cops and the results were amazing. within 4 or 5 minutes there were 7 cars/14 officers in the street outside my apartment, lights going totally nuts. the girl who got beat up ended up getting arrested for what sounded like possession of cocaine (wouldn't surprise me if she was fucked up based on how completely hysterical she was) and the other two with her walked. the car she had been yelling at got out of there a minute or two before the first cop arrived, but it looked like they sent a couple cars out to look for it...
so, nothing extremely special, just stoked that if i had to be woken up at 4am and it wasn't for sex, at least i got a good laugh out of it.

PS. Im fucking STOKED for this railjam tomorrow at campus. Got to session the setup a bit tonight and the features are mint...its going to go off!
 
I guess I won the railjam today as far as skiers went which has me pretty stoked...more stoked though that i didnt wreak myself!

they had a bunch of semi-pro snowboarders there that were straight murdering the place...soooo sick!
 
might have just found Molly. so stoked i can't even begin to tell you.
the best part? my dealer has never done straight Molly before and the first couple dozen times i rolled was on powda, not pills, so i've been selected to test drive the shit. free roll? yes, please!

i got barreled today. haven't gotten that feeling since i was moderately okay at surfing halfway thru college. slashed a cliff with a leftside turn, ducked out a slot, turned right, and all of my sluff came over the cliff that i sneaked under went over me. stupid? maybe. but i have never been green roomed by snow before.

i wish i had a camera or something. ill try to find one when i get home from work of the zone.

i don't have any pics of the microwave zone from this year. i had been waiting all year for these to fill it (there is crazy windloading / unloading in this area from constant crosswinds). this picture is from last november. the red line is the one that i got shacked by my sluff on.

here's the same are a little more filled in. probably february of 2008. its perfect spot for the wrenegades because theres always a mixture of deep snow and scoured snow.

my band (well, not my band, but the band I am in) is really coming together. I'm pretty stoked. We're pretty badass, if I do say so myself. I play guitar (Tele), there is another guitar player (plays a Les Paul), my friend/roommate Collin plays bass (he is a professional quality bassist, and really brings the funk), then our friends Jon and John play sax and trumpet (a horn section, fuck yes!), and we have a solid drummer. it's so fun. today we added a cool Cm blues, a funky reggae Em, and "Sex Machine" by James Brown to our repertoire. stoked.
 
I could do that! It'd be funny, because by looking over my shoulder to ride fakie it would appear that I am afterbanging everything super hard.
 
Stoked my Airush 3M trainer foil arrived today.

I need to quit going out on sunday nights. We went and watched a funk band play until 2 this morning, and accumulated a respectable stack of empty pitchers between the three of us at the table. I think I already have a reputation at this bar, but I am not totally sure what it would be....hmmmm. Well, I actually have a pretty good idea, and it is funny. Anyways, I am really hung over, just critiqued the shit out of some photo midterms, and the new girl I am seeing is ridiculously rad.
 
Haha, I don't know if you can handle her! Go play pool at the sub tonight after nine and she'll be working there. Or get a fake and come to the Filler with us this friday, a few of my friends are playing.

i'm not a fanboy, i have legitimate reasons to love Apple. this is one of them. Apple knows how to take care of their customers.

With the amount of traffic that could turn on to the road at anytime I woudn't even consider longboarding the road those guys are bombing down. Anyone that has been up to Whistler has likely been up that Mountain road.

I met a couple people that helped with the production as well.

Anyways, I had a pretty stellar day. Started with kiting. I went by the beach and found that there was still a large enough patch of snow to ski & board so I went back and grabbed my gear. Tried both, had a ball. Poached an awesome dinner at home then had an amazing bouldering session.
 
my dad sent that to me before, it's pretty cool how it works.

In other news, if I didn't already have enough expensive sports to take my money away, I'm in the middle of my PADI Open Water course, which means I will probably be buying a bunch of SCUBA gear soon
