The Stoked Thread

I wish all you east coasters were able to enjoy all the powder we are so used to here out west. I had the best runs of my season this weekend. Knee deep pow all day and not even close to being tracked out. That's the sick thing about the mountains hidden away;.

got bored after skiing. proceeded to start making a baller as GT Snowracer. pics to follow.

and while I was making it some girl came over and made me cookies

^ That sounds like the best day ever!

GT Racer has so much win, I just think of JP in a movie I can't remember, and then I think of outdoor education as well

I've been tearing up gt's since i was 3 or 4....fucking love those things! At one point i could 360 them, tailwhip, some rails, hahah

Oh my god, soooo deep today. Seriously needed a snorkel. Reset my cliff record. Did crazy shit I've always wanted to ski. Sitting at home now in a warm cozy room surrounded by drying gear, making sushi for dinner.

FINALLY got my brake situation sorted for my Caylors so I don't have to use leashes anymore. Now I can go ski that stuff Rowen's so happy about... friend coming out of DOA on blackcomb today advertised it as legitimately more than waist deep. Pow days have finally arrived!

oh yeah - and i'm sure there isn't time to get footage either haha

Looks like I timed the whistler trip a bit early

So my school next year will hopefully cost me MUCH less than this current years.

Just did my financial aid application. I was able to file independently this year instead of under my parents. It resulted in a significant reduction of income. (Not that my parents supported me at ALL before, the govy is retarded)

The "expected family contribution" amount was $20k less. Which means I should get some love in the form of grants and other things.

Haha I dont even know where to post this. Anywhooo my best friend is on the board of her condo association and she sent me an email that someone else in the building had sent to her...subject line: "umm was this you and ajay?"

Hey,

I'm about to go down and put the check under your mat so it should be there by the time you read this.

FYI - one thing I wanted to pass along regarding the door/lock repairs security issues that were talked about with doors not closing and Jack running off those guys a while back. The other night, I think it was last Thursday night/Friday morning, out buzzer went off at about 2:30 am and woke me up. When I went and said "what?" or something like that (I had just woken up) whoever it was said something like "BLEAAAGGHHHUHHHHGUHHHH" (clearly shitfaced). So I said something like "get lost" and a minute later they leaned on the buzzer for a loooong time. So I went back and cussed them out or something and heard another ""BLEAAAGGHHHUHHHHGUHHHH" back and then I yelled something about calling the cops and I didn't hear anything else. I almost went downstairs with my baseball bat but why go looking for trouble. Anyway, I'm not really concerned with the bums from under the railroad bridge coming up and murdering my family in our sleep, BUT I think it's just another example of why we need to make sure the doors are secure and I can only imagine that if some people here had this happen to them they would be freaking out.

OK, thanks for reading! Have a good one!

hahaha they were tasty. the best was the oatmeal cookie in my opinion. so good. i have to try gin martinis next time. i hear the hangover isnt as bad. i woke up sunday at 7am and was still drunk. yay

really? i chugged some gatorade before i went to bed, so i was fine when i got up, plus i'm a lot bigger than you so i wasn't nearly as drunk. but yeah the oatmeal cookie was pretttttty bomb

Oh, I need to mention that Scott is a most righteous and amazing guy for getting up early tomorrow morning (after St.Patty's day) to drive skis up north.

Amazing.

Went for a hike yesterday. Still snowpack in some areas, but where the snow was gone, the ground was overall firm and will be ride-able very quickly, especially as we are in a VERY dry pattern.

Mountain Biking season is essentially upon us!

omg why?

it was a pretty dope edit, but i'm just partial to more steezy tricks in the BC than hucked out doubles, leave the 12's and kangaroo fips for the parks, give me steezey flat 5's and rodeos in the bc

Wooooooooooooooo! Just passed the written portion of my license exam. So stoked. I am now on vacation for the next 6 weeks before I write the practical portion in Toronto.

I get to go home on Friday!! I got to keep all of my anatomy, and the tumor's gone. Radiation starts next week, and I get to go back to work on Monday!!!! My boyfriend and I adore each other, and he actually shows it, haha. Oh yeah, and my parents love him... what the fuck? My dad always hates guys I date, so maybe I actually picked a good one this time. This whole process is going so much smoother than I anticipated. Happy. :)

OHHH ps:

My mom and boyfriend brought me one of my green shirts and two bottles of stout yesterday so I could properly celebrate the holiday in the hospital, haha. Never expected my mom to do that.

He either brings his a-game or he plays like a high school freshman.

Stoked that the Sox signed Lester for 5 years!

walking about 15 mins or so, if that. way on the other side of town and theres no parking there which means we ride my bikes or cab it. you do not want to be a lil white girl walking around that neighborhood at night thats for sure

You always seem to tell me that about Albany.

Imagining us riding bikes drunk back to your place amuses me though.

I finally figured out how to restore my computer to factory settings without a fucking CD. Stoked. I can finally get back on track.
