The Stoked Thread

Well done. Magic's one of the only mountains on private land. Lillards and a bunch of people cut swaths in the summer for some crazy runs. I don't know if you can see them from the trail though.
 
Perhaps on a real storm day we need to get a tour from someone who knows the pace very well. Me and Ian were in awe of the gnarly-ness that is the liftlines and Magician. Major pucker factor for east coast.
 
I was tailgating a BMW today when I saw the license plate read Stokd. I thought it was awesome but didn't want to bust out the digi cam in creeper fashion to get the shot.

 
I'm working for a little film studio called Bandito Bros, which is a subsidiary of Warner Bros. We make a lot of commercials and action sports documentaries (for example, Step Into Liquid, Dust To Glory, and we're starting one on Colby West right now) and we partner with Warner Bros on the occasional big-budget feature film.
 
More stoke: I just filed my taxes and will be getting back $3,200 this year. Fuck yeah! I thought I would be getting half that, so this is really nice. Unfortunately most of it is spoken for already, but I should be able to finally buy a nice tripod to replace the $25 POS that I don't even trust to hold my 40D up.
 
Lena and i are going to see Oakenfold this Saturday... or so the plan is right now. we have a habit of making awesome plans, getting ready to go, then staying in and having sex all night. sigh... how rough my life has become. stoked :D
 
If there's a southern VT dump, I'm taking a day off to hit Magic. A friend of mine clears swaths in the summer with the Lillards. She may need to be coaxed with beer.

Bought board shorts for $14 off whiskey malitia. Got them today and realized they hold 2 tall boys and 4 cans.
 
I invented a new shot!!! Well, my good friend (and bartender), Tim, invented it the other night, and he let me name it since I was his lab rat... and it's officially called the Pu Pikunt (poopycunt). So much fun ordering those at the Dub and watching people's reactions when I talk about how much I love having poopycunts in my mouth and how smooth they are.

On that note, mucho drinking has been taking place the past few days with my best friends here, and it's been awesome!! We went drunk bowling the other night, and I bowled four strikes and two spares in one game, yayyy. Then again, it was the only game I broke 100 on hahaha. But yeah, definitely spending some quality last few days with some amazing friends.

Alaska in three days!!!!!!!!! Super super stoked! And I have an incredibly sexy and amazing boyfriend who's crazy about me. Life is pretty grand right now.
 
stoked on the "weezy facing 15 years"-or-whatever-it's-called thread... i want to clarify that while i'm stoked on the possibility of him doing even a few months, i'm stoking RIGHT MEOW on the thread itself. that thread makes up for every stupid fucking thread i've seen about him where dumb fucking stupid goddamn kids are stoking on his butt-fucking-ugly attempt at rapping. his "music" is NOT GOOD. i don't see what's so difficult to understand about that. but to finally have a thread where pretty much everyone in the thread is breathing a collective sigh of relief that he *might* actually be gone for a bit this time (no, unfortunately, he's not dead yet) is a little beam of sunshine through the clouds of horseshit that usually is NSG.

Holy shit I need Celts kicks!

So stoked last Thursday cause I can buy Celts jerseys in kids sizes so I save $40. Got the green/black Boston KG with the shamrock below the neck. Adam saw me, I wore it all weekend haha. Not that KG isn't the shit, but I really really wanted the Ray Allen one. Too bad you can only get that at maybe 3 places in person. Got a Rondo ( FTFW ) regular green already. Now I can rock Celts jerseys on both Saturday and Sunday! Yaaaah weekend warrior steeze

Sox up next? Possibly so. They're going to have to wait till like mid August. I'll buy BigBad B's kicks in April if they keep this up. And, I'll rock'em with my 77 jersey

For real though, my boss / owner of the company I work for / my second father's birthday is on Cinco De Mayo. Pretty sure me and his stepdaughter are going in on custom Diesel Direct kicks in the company colors. He'll probably only wear them 2-3 times a year but he'll love'em

^Niice.. I wish I had enough dough to get that exclusive red stripe on the barrel! I was considering getting a flash but I'm sick of the quality of my sigma lens so I think I'm gonna sack up and save for some good quality glass.
 
Yeah, I'd go for the glass before the flash. No use getting good lighting without a good lens!

I got a flash about a month ago, but I already had a 50mm 1.8 and a 70-200 f/4. The new lens replaces my Sigma 17-70mm, which actually wasn't a bad lens, but I wanted something faster, better, stronger. I'm also getting ready to go full-frame at some point, hopefully this coming summer.
 
The last week has been fucking amazing...wow...I'm stoked 99% of the time right now and i love it.
 
I had a dream about Wil last night. That was weird.

This isn't in the not stoked cause I thought that would be mean.
 
Not sure of the exact location, but I know it's a condo on the access road. Weather looks great for partying. Not so great for skiing.
 
And as proven last weekend, my riding gear easily holds over 8 PBRs. I can't finish all of those on my own without crashing, Cola. Keep me safe. Help me finish my beer!
 
It'll take 3 hours to get up to Killy Friday night. Chances of me getting in the car Saturday morning to drive an hour and fifteen to Mt Snow and then another hour and fifteen back to Killy = .02%. That's my two cents.
Cody and Ed are set to hit up Killy to hang out with their friend. See if Torsiello's going up to his house. He'll help you finish those brews
 
That's unfortunate. I'll be there w/a crew of skiers wearing the world's largest, black, Oakley puffy pants if you need to ride w/your own kind. I look like a midget or a smurf when I wear the pants and scream in fits of happiness. I'm easy to spot.
 
Yeah it kinda is. I'll be in bright pink pants, possibly a black jacket, sporting an EC hat and most likely carrying a briefcase of beer. Cant miss me
 
Huge sigh of relief for me, just turned in a final paper and gave a 30 minute presentation on the origins of hip hop for my African American Lit class. Now I'm down with it for the term, lots more time to focus on other classes which is really nice. Spring break is sooooo close. I can't wait
 
i'll trade the big camera for the point and shoot... if i do the math.......

1bigcamera * 2x - foampadding squared = (4PBR^2) minus 2 carry the one......... that's probably like 5 beers!
