that'd be fucking dope, and i'd definitely buy you some drugs or something to make up for it, but southwest airlines is usually pretty legit, you gotta remember i'm flying outta boston, and 350 round trip to the other half of the country is pretty legit
 
no thanks. we're stoking... hence "the stoked thread". the Vegas stoke will come and go... give it two days and it'll be back to normal.
 
um, i'd really only let you get me one stack or a couple drinks or something... ask Drew- i just like spreading stoke and making sure everyone's having a good time.
i'm stoked on a good night coming together here... going to Wasted Space at the Hard Rock with my friend Steph and my stripper friend, Mindy... Lena's got class tomorrow morning, so she's calling it a night, but tomorrow night i get to lead all three around. THAT will be a damn-good time. STOKED!!!
 
Not a bad day today. Sun was shining, so that's always a good start.

Had my end of term Co-Op performance review for work/school. I was given very high ratings by my two supervisors, one of whom does not give good reviews. I also told it like I see it in areas that could use improvement in the department I worked in. I shot from the hip, and was respected for it as well. I got a lot of compliments though today about the work I do, which always feels good.

Then I get to the work part of today, and the Director of Lodging at K asks me how my meeting with the GM of K went. I told him that I had lost my pass for the season, and he seemed pretty shocked. He told me he was going to talk to the GM personally and see what he can do. No guarantees, but it's safe to say I am appreciated when the Director of Lodging will go call out the GM of the resort and stick up for me to try to get my pass back for me.

Also talked mountain biking all night with a co-worker who rides. Might have someone to rip the trails with once spring comes. Stoked on riding now too!
 
Still broke as fuck, but it doesnt matter, I'm riding leftover pow tomorrow from todays storm. Its also snowing tonight...
 
It's snowing here too. The season is finally starting for real!

Also, Watchmen, the movie I have been waiting for yeeeears to see made, is coming out in a couple weeks and the reviews have started to come in... and it's getting 92% good ones (rottentomatoes.com keeps track). I will be so, so happy if this doesn't suck.
 
No shit, hence the fact that I said "not that you shouldn't be stoked" - its just getting cluttered. Its not like you can't have the same stoke in another thread.
 
Well, to be fair Ashley, there have been over 9200 posts in this thread in a year and a half. That's an average of greater than 17 a day.

This thread was already a straight clusterfuck of stoke.

Landed a 20 footer near Tye, felt good man. Stevens then closed unexpectedly, apparently they cant afford to do night skiing midweek, which is a real shame...

I was going to say...Boys, not to kill you're stokedness, I totally emphasize with it. There now with my bf, but damn, reading all this is like yooooooooooooo chill out!!!! That's what PM's, texts, phone, emails, etc. are for. We're all happy you had a great time together, but none of us were there and we already got the jist so the rest doesn't matter for shit. =)
So....No bitchiness there....Continue to have a fucking awesome time, I know I will, and let's go rip!
I also got some new kicks, Adam has seen a text pic of them. When I'm not on my work laptop I'll post'em. Pretty sure you'll (or at least most if not all) will appreciate them!

Yah for going skiing/boarding this weekend with a few friends that I only see 5-6 times a year (+Adum & Pablo if they're not too lazy to drive down)
Ohhhh...And, I have to add in the fact that Mr. Nick Martini is in the new PBP movie. I've known him since he was 14, maybe earlier. Great kid that has always bust his ass. He and the rest of the Stept boys have always put out great/motivational movies (for people like me & my friends at least). So dope! Love seeing these boys (now guys) get there! FUCK YEAH
Just for the hell of it I'll (well deserved I will say though) throw out a shout-out to our own Michael Rogge from Lake George (oldschool Queensbury), NY. Pretty sure his mom loves me and I've only spent a weekend with the fam. :) Uber impressed Michael! Ring RIng....phone works both ways!
 
I'll let Ian post it, but he put together an impressive little edit of a slew of photos he took this winter for school.

Not only am I proud to close it out as the final set of images, but it's also just an awesome piece of work.
 
Just got back from going to the gymnastics place and hitting up a real trampoline with Billy. So much fun.

Gymnastics trampolines are the third coolest playtoy, after skis and chairlifts.
 
Thanks again for everything Steve-O! (I can't say enough about how much of a help Steve's been in getting me where I need to be, when I need to be there!!!!)

So I made this edit for a self-promo assignment which was a lead up to our senior project, it's over on my blog as I can't figure out how to embed flickr videos in here.

I literally just got home from about 10 days straight of 16ish hour days infront of computers with Photoshop and InDesign finishing up two projects, one of which was my seinor project. For that, I designed a mini ski mag, and then filled it with my own photography and writing.... I'll tell you guys more about it when I get digital versions online, but..... it pretty much absorbed my life the past 10-12 weeks.

Dude, so those shots were a bunch of stills put together? Its so sick! The people in your shots have good personalities, made for fun pictures. Is it finished? I'm guessing no, it kinda just ended.
 
word, I've been climbing a lot lately, I need new shoes so I promise myself once I'm climbing V8, I'll get a new pair
 
wait, wait, wait...you can climb a V8? fuckin bravo man! im up to a V3..but maybe lower now seeing that I havent climbed in a good year or so.
 
Stoked. My mum gave me a Sony Digital camera as my grad present. She won it at her X-mas party as a door prize.

Anyways, she held off until this morning before giving it to me.

Then, I was out doing some stuff this morning. Came back home and realized it wasn't in my pocket anymore. I'm wearing a pair of khakis with shallow pockets today which are notorious for having stuff fall out of em. After running around the house 3 times, checking my car twice, (i found my MP3 player that has been missing for a while), no sign of the camera. I phoned the gas pump, and place I went this morning, no sign... I was posting a lost and found add on Craiglist when I thought of one place I hadn't checked. I found it deep in the bowels of the lazyboy. So Stoked when I found it.

I was freaking out thinking I would have to tell her, "Uhh... I lost it in under 4 hours..."

I had my exit interviews at school today. Now everything is official. I've earned my Diploma with an overall grade of 85%. Exactly the mark I've been shooting for since 1st year. Not quite honor role but nobody in the field cares about marks anyhow. It's looking like I might have to wait until May to write the Provincial exams & start working, regardless Stoked!
