The Stoked Thread

Childhood flashback, Griffey is back with the Mariners. This is old news to some, but I'm usually out of the Baseball loop until late March.
 
I run my University's Ski and Snowboard Club, which is baller as fuck. We are basically the "Party" Club with a huge following. It's not some shitty small club. The Voleurz crew was a very active party of UVicSnow back when they were in school and we all know how they party.

Anyways, every year the Snow Club plans a trip over reading break to a new mountain and this year we choose SilverStar (Interior of BC). So a bus full of us (60 peeps) headed out on Saturday morning for the journey there. Everyone can ride, everyone can party, it was soo dope. People every year talk about how amazing the reading break trip will be.

Summed up:

- Partied super hard for 5 nights in a row.

- Rode Super Hard all day

- Dominated the park

- Drank my face away every night

- 60 people took over the bar every night

- Met soo many more people

- So many girls on the trip

- Met a certain one :D

- Jager Bombed with the Senior Vice Pres of SilverStar and got offered a job.

- Returned home to my home mountain for more riding and chilled with peeps.

I think those are the highlights.

^I'm not going to lie. This past Saturday night I was killing time on NS when I read your original posts about the Vegas trip it seemed pretty fuckin' epic. It had me wondering why I was sitting at home at 11PM on a Saturday night when that was when I used to be starting my week. Everything from the club drugs, the chase, good muzik had me thinking about my old days in Whistler. Sometimes I miss the party scene, mainly because I haven't yet fully replaced and filled the void of some of the things in my life. >Bordom

I went to a Dry bar in Montreal on Valentines day on a last minute when I was like what the fuck am I doing? I need to do something. It was pretty sick. They had good electro playing that I could really get into.

No doubt if there were to be a PH tear in Vegas I would want to go. I've done my time in Fear & loathing and don't really want to go back there, but Gambling, Girls, and a true Vegas experience are a must do on my bucket list.

 
Zane FINALLY moved out. Thank fucking god! I leave in under two weeks for Alaska to live with my best friend in the US, and I'm wayyy stoked! Josh (the bartender) is taking care of Ninja for a couple of months or so until I heal from surgery and can ship him up to AK. Anddd I got an AMAZING job offering that I don't think I'm going to pass up. Big money and exactly in my career field. Happy. :)

you know what PH, i'm stoked on many things right now. but most of all, i think i'm stoked on everyone stoking each other. spring is in the air here in PH.

on a more personal note, i got to watch some of my friends who are still in high school race today and watched one of them dominate. Also, i got to ski real jumps! like... not shitty ones, oh my god i almost wet myself i was so happy.

I'm not totally sure. Any advice from PHers is appreciated. I've settled on going big though. That eye is just so sick. I think it would be pretty wimpy if it were small. The question at hand is, how big is too big? What would be too much, or too little?
 
i've been printing out pictures a bit and tacking them to foam board. 8x11 seems to be reasonably big enough, but i've mostly stuck with 5x7. Depends on how big the file is i wouldn't go less than 250 dpi

 
sometimes i read things from the end to the beginning. i was like "damn $400 sleeves, thats an expense shirt". then i got to the beginning.

It's snowing. We've gone so long without it that I didn't even expect it to happen, but I may have to miss some classes tomorrow. We'll see.

yeah, when we got your text last night, Lena and i were ready to jump in the car to drive to Minn... something tells me Lena would beat the piss outta him. she's fierce. we're over the deleted FB comments, though... as i said, no sense in throwing gas on that fire.
not to sound like a heartless dick, but too bad for him. sure, the situation would suck, but it's partially his own damn fault and he should have thought it through PRIOR to moving in with her. furthermore, what the hell is he doing still living in the same house as her? asking for problems? trying to put himself in a position to get hurt over and over again? it would take a special breed of fucking retard to continue to live with an ex.
fuck him and his feelings, make love with her body and mind, and get her out here to Vegas once she's 21... the four of us have some mayhem to unleash on this town.
btw, Steph's cool with me again... she's actually found a boy-toy younger than us. didn't see THAT coming...

from what Steph told me, they were both rolling so hard, they weren't even thinking about sex... Steph not thinking about sex? yeah..... right. i guess they ended up going back to the Hard Rock until about noon to meet up with Steph's new boy-toy, so we didn't miss anything. Steph's kinda hard to figure out sometimes- her sexual/social agenda, at least- but i think all's good in the hood. she said we'll definitely have to kick it with her next time you're in town, if that's any indication.
and the ps... do work, but don't rub it in... i'm still sad that i didn't get to see you naked.
 
I made my Pa-dukes a strawberry shortcake for his birthday. Man, it was soooooo good.

Drew, I'm kinda turned on listening to you talk about this girl in your hoodie. You should post a pic and let me judge.
 
dude..... dude.............. that would be epic. seriously. Rehab and the Hard Rock (the pool) is basically the sickest nightclub you can imagine, but at a pool during the day. start rolling at about 4~5 and keep it going from there... wow, and you thought you felt like death this last time. and if you ended up getting naked in the pool and getting us banned for life... so worth it.
 
it's Vegas... what do you expect? you'll have a blast and pay for it later. with that in mind, though, you're in pain for a day or two, but stoked for life... i'd say it's a fair trade-off.
 
dude... add to that Lena, the girls Drew might be coming here with, and Steph and her friends... it would be REALLY out of hand.
anyone else who reads any of this... you should come, too. unless you're too scared, that is...
 
i told you what happened my only time there. fucking hotel out in non-taxi-service-land. i will for sure let you know if i ever end up going back.
 
trust me, transportation is a non-issue.
if money's an issue, Drew and i figured it out, Olenick-style. steal credit cards.
 
that's not bad... i think the lowest i've ever found was about $310... that's what i paid in September. if you don't want to spend money on a hotel (Drew, this means you, too), i have a futon and plenty more floor space... we're ski bums, so you'd survive. plus, we don't sleep much here.
 
You guys should make a Vegas thread, and give us the stoked thread back =)

Not that you shouldn't be stoked, just sayin'.
