I'm posting late, but I went to the Blazers/Rockets game the other day.... OH MY GOD. Best game ever. The last two seconds in OT were AMAZING and included Outlaw's rebound to Roy which resulted in a 2pt swish (98-96 Blazers), Yao Ming's fadeaway plus foul shot (99-98 Rockets), and Blake's inbound to Roy with 0.8 seconds remaining for a 30-foot 3pt (101-99 Blazers). And yes, I had floor seats. Go Blazers!

In other news, it's official: I qualified for and am running the Boston Marathon on April 20, 2009. YAY! Training is awesome, and Ninja can actually run with me for a couple of hours now that he's getting older (ten months... fuck!).

My parents came down from Alaska for a week and told me they think I'm bipolar and suicidal (what the fuck?!). They don't know about much of the major crazy shit I've been through the past four years, though, and asked me to see a shrink. I agreed and have been seeing this woman in town who is really awesome and conversational. I'm finally able to talk openly with someone about things that have been eating away at me for a while and not have to worry that she'll throw them back in my face or judge me. Go figure, I've been basically diagnosed with PTSD. I really think I just needed someone who is unbiased and trustworthy to talk to about this shit. She's giving me ways to "cope" and really encourages me to continue with my stress outlets. Blah blah blah....

Overall, I'm happy.
 
A - The colder weather is finally coming back and this 60 degrees bullshit is on its way out. I am itching to get back out on my gnar-sticks again.

B - I finally got my MP3 player to be recognized by my PC again!

C - Chance of Snow tonight and the next few days up at Killington. Nothing major as far as accumulation, but it sure beats mid 60s. And they should be able to fire up the guns and make a man-made blizzard.

Grandfather had successful surgery on thursday. they removed 15" of cancer laden lower intestine and they expect a full recovery. went to visit yesterday and he's in very good health and spirits.

i wish that show was an hour long... it's nice at a half hour for the writers, but it would be better at an hour for the fans.

not yet. i'm a member on a few sites similar to this and i know i'm looking at about 15-25 mins of set-up time. i'd rather smoke a small bowl, watch some TV, and deal with it tomorrow, but i'm definitely looking into it tomorrow.

So since my buddy is still in the hospital, i've been looking after his gerbil which isnt too bad because the thing is kinda cute running around my desk hopping on and off shit. Well last night i guess i fell asleep with the cage door open and when i woke up this morning he was gone. Awesome...my buddies gf is coming up tonight and i just lost the fucking gerbil... anywways, there is only old ass vent in my room that he could get outta but he would die in there and it would reak of dead gerbil (its an old furance vent).

So after about 1/2 hour of cleaning up/trying to find if this little bastard is sleeping somewhere in here, I hear some scratching in my closet. Go figure the little guy found his way in there and found a nice old touque too sleep on :P Took me about 5 minutes to catch him but he's back in the cage locked up.

Stoked on getting an offer finally on selling my truck back. Yota motor corp will give me 11,500 for my truck, thats about 1600 more than I bought it for almost three years ago.

Also found one to buy this weekend, it's a 93 with about 150,000 on it but the dude has done a clutch and timing belt already. We'll see how that one checks out this week.

Killington picked up some bonus snow this morning that was not really forecasted. Few inches on the upper mountain. Snowmaking has been going up higher since late last night too.

i'm at 26... i clearly need to get out more. of course, i was in a serious, long-term relationship for about four years, so that probably put a dent in the overall count.
