The Stoked Thread

Poooooooosttttt themmmmm.

The snow that's falling so gently outside my window at 600 feet is wonderful, and the few inches up in the mountains is making my my ski-itch tingle.

Basically they had about 30 different rails/boxes etc a couple of wall rides set up etc. SEriously its looking SICK

Not from the summit. Lower mountain is just a solid coating - Maybe an inch. Rain took a while to change-over to all snow last night. At 11:30 last night the snow level was pretty much right at K-1 base.

"Excuse me copper, unless you have a legitimate reason for stopping me and wasting my time, I'd like to get moving along here. Maybe you should stop wasting your time jerking off in subdivisions waiting for 'suspicious brakers'."

So stoked on this song. I think it's really beautiful. TV On The Radio again.

Love Dog :

Lonely little love dog that

No one knows the name of

I know why you cry out

Desperate and devout

Timid little teether

Your eyes set on the ether

Your moon in a bella luna and

Howling hallelujah

Nameless you above me

Come lay me low and love me

This lonely little love dog

That no one knows the name of

Curse me out in free verse

Wrap me up and reverse this

Patience is a virtue

Until it's silence burns you

And something slow

Has started in me as

Shameless as an ocean

Mirrored in devotion

Something slow

Has sparked up in me

As dog cries for a master

Sparks are whirling faster

Lonely little love dog

That no one knows the ways of

Where the land is low is

Where the bones will show through

Lonely little love dog

That no one knows the days of

Where the land is low is

Where the water flows to

And holds you

word, we are straight g. Us three white kids are more gangsta then any else peeps, Rollin in the wonderful suburbs.

When the cop left, we were soo stoked though. We just showed the fucking cop who's boss in this hood.

Stoked of receiving my skitheeast package last night with HFTH and some sweet pint glasses. Also stoked on building a shed in the backyard so I can get my crap out of a rental storage. Also stoked on removing the suby's power steering pump last night, now it's time for junkyard scavenger hunt today. Also stoked on starting to take parts off the truck in preparation to sell it back on monday.

haha yes!! about to eat shit. i would like you all to know that this isnt the one that raped my buttcheek

hahah nice josh nice...yesterday there were only 4 "Ridges" on my bottom from plopping on that thing. i dont know how it happened either. not pretty

I snapped a line while hauling in a fish last time I saw papasteeze. My lead weight flew back and smacked my stomach at about 50 mph or so. I had a five ounce shaped sinker bruise for a week. I should of got pics.

hahahaha, stoked on the awesome pics of Les. the about-to-FAIL pic had me laughing out loud; the cute undies gave me a boner.

why the fuck do people try and slide culverts? they dont seem like a smooth slide at all...

Stoked on all the Holiday Brews that are starting to pop up in stores. Drinking on some New Belgium "2 Below" right now, delicious. It warms me up real good and gets me in the mood for winter, score.

Dammmnnnn... I guess the total snow up high was correct and some people hiked and skied some of the glades and runs that were thinned and grass cut already. 8" of sloppy wet snow up high was the measurement on the north ridge area.

A little bummed as I could've gotten at it today and skied, but at the same time I don't think i would've wanted to log the nearly 1800 vertical foot clog up to where the snow was good.

I just got a text from a friend saying she got me a present today...a case of Sierra Nevada from Costco! Seems like she'd learn her lesson after last weekend, but I'm always down for a round II (especially when I don't pay for it).

if you buy the small version of the chicken fingers in the dorm are $1 are cheaper and come with one more peice of chicken, and a little less fries.

i think my roommate ordered it on OnDemand, because we're watching it again on Comedy Central right now... i'm loving the Scarface references, though.

Stoked on this sweet ass maple syrup/whisky liquor we picked up in DE. It's a product of quebec, called Sortilege or something. It's great, but ya gotta love maple syrup, well who doesn't like maple syrup. This stuff is great though, it's been keeping me warm while outside the last few days working on the shed/suby/truck/firewood.

that and the dogfish pumpkin ale.

Oh and how bout a GO PHILLIES!!!!!!

People wanted gas prices to go down. Well, they have. Careful what you wish for, I guess.

Funny how after all the speculation and greed the bottom falls out of the market, regardless of which market it is. I would enjoy seeing oil companies squirming for once.

I honestly wanted them high. People won't change until it hit their pocketbooks, and serious effort into more environmentally friendly technologies won't happen until gasoline becomes a pain in the ass. $6 a gallon.
