The Stoked Thread

I had a pretty fun little party with 6-8 people at my house last night, and we managed to finish off half a case of red bull, half a bottle of vodka, half a bottle of tequila, and an entire refridgerator of beer. I woke up this morning to find one of my friends laying next to me naked, so that was an interesting start to the day (to say the least). I've been kind of on the fence with her for a month or so, but I guess my games are over now.

10 beer and 2 doobs into the night...fucking just rocking.

reaaaaally needed this...tomorrow will suck though...lol

Thank god, I was getting nervous...I got the vibe that a GUY friend was laying naked next to you...I glanced up to see if it was the not stoked thread, starting to fear the worst.

Glad to see your innocence is still intact.

Anyways, reading through this thread of everyone about to go out and party depresses me, as I'm stuck at home watching paint dry....litteraly...Then I get to apply another coat of paint, then another, then install a hardwood floor, then demolish a kitchen, then wake up (or just go to..if I don't sleep) work at 7 a.m.

dude... JEALOUSY. i've been tooling around in the UP bc and always wished they'd do a legit pro rally through some of that terrain. so, what happens? oh, i move and there's a race two weeks later.

haha sorry man! they had it last year too though! and some day when you're an excentric millionaire and i'm working for the subie pro rally team as head engineer we'll go for a drive, and by go for a drive i mean win that race.

i'm eccentric, not whatever you called me.
and i'm not allowed in the UP for seven years or i'll be doing some time, so i'll be a billionaire by then.

been hanging out with a new ladyfriend all weekend, stoked.

21st birthday on tuesday, gonna party like a rockstar. also stoked!

I feel so bad because the fall colors and mountains are absolutely beautiful right now and all I have done lately is take pictures of barren structures in black and white.

^That was the 6660th post in here, and this is my juvenile and hypocritical FUCK YEAH for it.

More stoke: I just showed the GF an Opeth video and she said it was pretty good. This is, in the words of Bill and Ted, "Most Excellent."

Apparantely Mt Snow is "Open"...

They have real snow, for real jibbing. Just a few small things setup, but shit, it's skiing of some sort.

Soo cool.

^ good catch. i know where i'll be this sunday.

sweet interview with Lennon back in 69, replayed with animation

details: In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed

with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in

Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace. 38 years

later, Jerry has produced a film about it. Using the original interview

recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual

narrative which tenderly romances Lennon's every word in a cascading

flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius

pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by

Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell-binding vessel for Lennon's boundless

wit, and timeless message.

So I woke up early today and went online and started chatting with Jacob. Turns out he was in SF for the icer (duh) and his flight didn't leave until 9:30 and he didn't have anything to do.

So we coordinated to meet up and I went and hung out with him in SF all afternoon, took him to the Golden Gate, Coit Tower, pier 39, Lombard street and a bunch of stuff and had a lot of fun. He's the first friend from Sweden that I've seen in over a year.

Stooooooked.

ahahahhahha... man i wish i could have seen that. :)

I always thought it'd be funny to go up to someone and just sing that, "Take me home tonight... i don't wanna let you go till you see the light." come on... don't you think that's an amazing pick up line? haha.

wish we could have met up. :( Glad you guys had fun tho, and you conquered some major tourist traps, i mean popular destination points... way to go! :)

Hey everyone, I'm e-friends with a certain Drew Cziok, I hear he's going places in skiing, and is a normal human being too! Fancy that!

haha i didn't even see this before i posted. :)

I still think you should give the Mission district a higher priority on your "things to do in SF" list.

Next time for sure, just bummed you didn't get to see some of my work and the rest of the show that's up.

Thank you again for your help Ashley! Mucho gracias!

I even got the energy (no clue how) to start my bedroom last night. Its starting to come together...

I got an email this morning that Mt Snow has jibs set up!! MY GOD!!!!! Its that time!
