The Stoked Thread

Stoked on Ready, such a good flick, so much POOOOOWWWWW.

Got to meet JP Solberg, Kevin Pearce and Jeremy Jones, got a free t-shirt and volcom glasses out of the deal. Stoooked.

The Voleurz showing in Ottawa last night was awesome. Tiny venue (sadly tiny TV) but all the fans and especially the Voleurz team were just stoked like crazy to be there.

went to the big e last night which is basically just a huge regional fair, went with heather, it was cool cause i hadn't been since high school and it was fun to feel like i was in high school again, but it was better this time cause of BEER

I started a blog on NS. I used an IF3 recap to start it off. I've wanted to start one for a while, but I held back. But now it's active...sooo yay.

Sitting in my new 'office' on campus right now which happens to be this 'grotto' type clearing in a small patch of forest on campus. Its ridiculously secluded yet right beside everything and no one ever comes here. I've got sun and sahde, a doob in hand and im loving school right now :P

I can use the schools wifi here too....uber dope

Just found out that I have access to zip car with my UW u-pass, one time start fee of $25, and then I can get cars for $10 an hour, or $70-$75 a day, gas and insurance is included.

cars near me are

Subaru Imprezas 4 and 5 door,

Honda Civics, Elements and CR-V's

Toyota Prius and Tacoma

minis

Volvo S40

Scion XD.

car rental thing, they place cars all over certain citys and you reserve a car based on where you are/needs for an hour or so or a day an just return the car at the end of your reservation to it's designated parking space.

Oh, and there is only 2 days in the next 7 day forecast for up at Killington where it is forecasted to be above freezing. Upper 20s, low 30s every night.

I cannot wait for snow.

Last year I almost bought some snowboard boots off a girl on here, for $200. I passed, since I was tight on money, and my boots had one more season in them. She PMed me a couple weeks ago, asking if I'd still be interested, and this time for $100. They are now in my possession. And I scoped out the board I want (last years model of course) for 50% right now, that's $179 baby!

AWESOME!!!!

Im in search for a pair of Pikas but need to sell a few other pairs before I can get my hands on those

exactly.

do you happen to know of anyone that's tested them out? I talked to dave about getting moment to do some demos on the EC but Im not sure if that'll ever happen.

Im currently decked out in my suit...and i look fucking good.

The sweet thing is Im ready in under 10 minutes...hahaha. STOKE

Stoked on kayaking, surfing, biking, fishing, and anything else I can get into at the beach this weekend. Hopefully this won't be our last time down this year.

I'm hoping to get in a ride tomorrow sometime. The weather has been so incredible and the trails should be pretty dry.

We just rode yesterday, it wasn't too bad around here. It's getting dark early though, we head out around 6 and we're lucky if we can get out of the woods before it gets too dark on us.

We do about 8-10 miles of up and down horse trails around a local resevoir.

I usually do 10 miles of singletrack at the park around the corner. I usually climb the first half, and then al downhill the second half. The soil here in Rutland County dries insanely fast, so it's got to be great dusty conditions now.

Chantal (skibunnie) was considering Pikas if I remember correctly. Not sure if she pulled the trigger or not. They'd definitely be more versitile for the EC though.

As for me being stoked, I went to bed at 8:45 last night! And kinda slept! I still woke up at 11:45 (pm), 3, 5, and the alarm went off at 5:50, but I am definitely more rested today than I have been in weeks!
