The Stoked Thread

Yes! I watched the Pam Anderson roast last night, and it was glorious. 3 best jokes, "Courtney Love, you're the girl next door...if you lived next to the methadone clinic." "I wasn't sure which Courtney Love would show up....the disgusting coke whore...or the violent disgusting coke whore." and finally..."Bea Arthur....I wouldn't fuck your penis with Andy Dick's vagina."

I am IN on watching teh Saget roast.

Had an awesome ride today. About 2 hours, just tearing it up.

The ride starts with a grueling climb, about 45 minutes of near constant climbing, then there's a trail with some fun options to rip through. Then it's all downhill from there. Just flip the lever on the suspension and enjoy. Tight, twisty singletrack with a few small jumps and bermed turns. Way too much fun.

Only negative is I took a trail called half-pipe that said Advanced Freeriders only, and rode it, and was made aware that I am not all that good of a rider, haha. Guess I will need to keep practicing.

i know you've all been missing my posting, but i must say the last two weeks have been the wildest weeks of my life, drinking non stop, two girls with gf potential, i am just besides myself with options and new people, it's kinda nuts actually

well, you didn't miss too much. they should have taken the whole thing, and made a 1/2 hour clip of the funny parts, and shown that

Word, leaves are already changing here. We've had many a night/morning where you can see your breath on the air. Now thats stoke.

No wait, hoodie weather is stoke =)

And I still have no idea where the balloons came from that were on my car. Very weird.

Paddled all weekend, went really well. Feeling like I am getting better and way more confidence in myself. Stayed at a super chill cottage right on the river and saw a ton of great people. Was sunny and warm both days too. Awesome weekend.

Also SUPER stoked that "Burn After Reading" is a Coen brothers movie and it comes out soon! I'd seen a couple previews for it and thought it looked good but I didn't realize until this morning that the Coens directed it.

I think its great. Of course I noticed a few grammatical errors, but that's just the Ryonitis kicking in.=P

Its a good look into ON3P, how it came about, what kind of effort has been placed in it, etc. Did you guys do the interview over the phone, or the internet?

Holy Fuck!

Holy Fuck!

Holy Fuck!

Holy Fuck!

Holy Fuck!

I honestly cannot comprehend what I just saw. If that trailer is any indication of the sheer awesomeness of this years movie, they just totally outdid themselves and will have topped what in my opinion, was the greatest ski flick I have EVER seen in Wanderland.

OHHHHHH SOOOOO STOKED!!!1111

An awesome T-Storm ripped about 5 miles to the south of Rutland around 8pm, and got to sit at the window and just watch an insane amount of ground lightning occur, all while it just barely rained lightly here.

Glad to have found my way back into PH - been so busy with uni + work etc..lame.

Plenty of hot photos in this cult lately - Hope everyone is well!!!

Just picked up a brand spankin' new pair of BD Zealots, woohoo! Hopefully this will be the AT setup that I actually like, I've been switching pairs every year.

Bahaha - oh man. We have a horrid one here, it smells incredibly bad. I can't bring myself to go back anymore. The only reason I would go would be for the demolition derby, which is kick ass and of course the highlighted event.

I had an AWESOME weekend camping that included drinking profusely, kayaking, and hanging out with my friend (who apparently now has a crush on me and makes things awkward), his gay uncle, and his uncle's deaf partner/lover. They're really fun to be around.

AND my buddy, Pat, is visiting me from Colorado on the 22-27th... which means he gets here FRIDAY! I haven't seen him in almost two years, and he's been a good friend of mine forever. His younger sister (who's my age) just got married, and she and I have been talking more lately, which is cool.

Then, my first crush ever (I'm talking first grade) is flying my ass down to Georgia from the 29th to the 3rd to spend Labor Day weekend with him. The whole crush thing isn't applicable anymore, but we get along really well and just plan on catching up, wakeboarding, and drinking a lot. Oh yeah, and we're taking his motorcycles out, which will be good times.

The first week of October will be spend prepping for and then running the Portland Marathon on Oct. 5. I'm really hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon, so wish me luck!

I'm spending Halloween (October 30 to November 4) in Colorado visiting Pat. I've never been to CO, so that'll be a fun experience. We're going to the Nuggets' season opener, too, haha. But yeah, if I end up liking Colorado enough, I might be moving out there for the winter. Portland is boring me.

I've been in Portland for over a year, and I lived in the town before this (Newport) for almost a year and a half. I'd say it's a huge improvement from previous years...

I still live within 30 minutes of where i was born and raised!

How fucking rad is that!?!?!?!?!?!

hhaaha why do you think i'm the big spoon? hahaha.....

Tahoe makes my heart ache that's how much i love it! :)

I'll be right next to Alpine Meadows so mostly ski there. Squaw, Northstar, Homewood are super close too! :D ahhhhhhhh so stoked. Everyone should come visit me!!

I live in the same house I have since I was born (except for 8 months in Idaho, but we kept our house) and I work 4 blocks from the hospital I was born in. But enough about that.....

ON3Ps ARE HEEEEEEEEREEEEEEE!!!!!! So fucking stoked. So stoked. So so so so stoked.

I'm currently in the same town I live in. Tomorrow I'll be back at school. In two weeks I'll be speaking at a ski writers conference. In three weeks I'll be speaking drunk speak to some of you. In four weeks I'll be on tour with Poor Boyz.

The Dream Continues...
