Hmmm so I invited my new flame to my softball game tonight as a ringer. I need someone who can at least catch a fly ball and knows the rules. Anyways he sends me this and says he'll miss the game because he's still working but wants to do more wine and movies tonight. Grrrrrrr

I just finished making up my plans and shuttling for backpacking next week, it's going to be amazing! 6 days, ~50 miles, and a few glacier/snowfield crossings, almost entirely in the 9,500-11,000' range. Oh yeah, I'm also fishing 24 lakes with brookies, rainbows, goldens, grayling, and cutthroats. The last one I'm fishing is full of 16-24" cutthroats that should be spawning in the little tributary creek right about the time I get there. More nonsensical stoke to come before I leave, then lots of pictures when I get back!
 
Solid hike today with the fiancee at Pine Hill Park around the corner from our place. We were chilling on some rocks, taking in the view, and heard some rumbling in the distance. Busted ass 2 miles back home to be in the door for 2 minutes before the sky let loose.

It was an adventure for sure! Being outside straight dominates.

Also, had a good interview this morning at Killington, for a position in Central Reservations. Lowly position with low pay, but it's a start and it falls right in line with school and I'll be rocking FT employment on-top of school which will be a pleasant surprise if it works out.

I may not be as poor as I had previously worried about.
 
Just got in from a sweet longboard cruise. Found a parking garage to chill on top of and i watched the lightning rip through the clouds about 20km away (which since its night time, lit them up like crazy).
 
I have been iwshing over the last few years for more violent weather in my area and its finally happening so im stoked :P

Free seasons for myself and the fiancee (she only skis very occasionally though and is more or less a beginner still). I don't know if I would get any individual day tickets for anyone else to use, but in due time I shall know.
 
Managed to get out 3 quotes in the last hour so huge load off my plate.

Thinking I am starting to get the upper hand on a nasty computer virus one of our guys managed to get, this crafty little bugger is going down!!
 
Went to lunch w/my best friend and some of my favorite people from the last place I worked.

Found out the douche bag manager that worked out back and pissed off most of my friends got arrested for stealing $20k worth of metal and selling it for scrap. I'm stoked as shit, minus how sadistic it is.
 
So that 3 hour tour turned into an 11 hour round trip from peterborough to the Owen Sound area. Got dominated on the way home by construction on the 401 and lost some serious time there but other then that it was kinda a sweet way to spend 15+ hours at work considering we got to drive a pimped out Ford F250. None of that base model F150 shit we dealt with before :P

I made a friend on the way too...I call him Rigimortus the Black Bear...he weighed 300+lbs...lol
 
its good! had another storm come through today.. left behind 15cm (probably gets kiwis as stoked as 50/60cm gets stoked in the states haha our snowfall sucks) one week of uni to go then im heading up to queenstown for a week should be mint! the days are getting slightly longer and warmer.. can't wait! been 2 weeks since I last skied.

oh and im super stoked I got both my essays finished in time to hand in today.
 
Yesterday was my last day of work! After work we all went down to the shop to drink beer and the girl on my crew who runs the shovels and wheelbarrows with me decided to start a water fight. Apparently she forgot that we're part of a major land remediation company, but remembered once there was a water truck with multiple sprayers and a fire hose chasing her around the parking lot a minute later. After those shenanigans I made my last visit to the bars of north Idaho, which I won't really miss all that much.

The icing on the cake was that the job site we started yesterday was so horrible I was laughing almost the entire day. Now the other laborer on the crew is going to have to dig around 20 cubic yards by herself, by hand. I am an asshole, and damn it feels good.
 
I got 5 pairs of ON3P skis in my house. Including mine. I pulled the protective plastic off the topsheets.

I pretty much creamed my pants.

Im still watching it and I have now decided that I'm going to put the trick from 0:07-0:16 on my 'things to do before i die' list. I used to 4wheel a lot and jump them and shit and the best trick i landed was full out superman over a 25ft dirt tabletop with my 200cc blaster...haha. nothing crazy but that sensation felt so epic to me.

I need to do this on a bike now after watching that mega ramp...it looks toooooo fucking fun and the wipeouts on the jump are nothing*.

My boss pulled me aside today to tell me how impressed she was on how I handled my 7 top. She told me she has no question in her mind about sitting someone important at my table. We also shared a laugh the other night, when talking about a certain guest.

I think she might actually like me? Seeing as getting compliments from her doesn't come easy.
 
jason hooked me up hella with my latest order from the newschooler store. I ordered the gangsta package and he said he added a few extra surprises for me. I got home from work and the package arrived, soo stoked at the moment. Open it up to find 3 bandana's, even more lanyards (I already picked up a couple..), mounds of stickers to add to my already massive amount, and the t-shirt. So dope.

Sick shit, looks like he's going to be getting a super stoked thank you message.
 
I got promoted to being a national resource on Monday and got immediately dispatched to a fire in Idaho. Just got back, and I'm liking my new crew a lot.
 
Glad to hear this is going so well for you =)

I found a bunch of balloons tied to my car this morning. I don't know who they came from, or why, but it was sweet!
