The Stoked Thread

I just got home from fishing on the Big Hole and it was awesome! Definitely one of the best evenings I have ever had of fishing, the only downside was about 20 minutes of torrential rain that soaked us a bit. I ended up pulling in well over 20 fish in two hours, and missed close to 100 because we had too much beer in the boat that needed to be finished. Here's an 18 incher as we landed it:

Me with what was an average fish last night!

And an out-of-focus photo of the biggest fish of the evening--20":

I really wish I had my friend's job of doing this every day!

^Are those brook trout?

Got out Golfing today. The forecast was calling for 90% chance of rain. Not a single drop all afternoon. The GM of the place I got laid off from took me out for a free round with cart. Had a wicked time. Tired to get some shots to enter Cusson's golf invite contests not sure if I have any good footage off the digi yet or not.

We were catching mostly browns, with a few rainbows before we got into more structure.

New stoke: I just got out the map and fishing guide and got a cool idea for a backpacking route in 1.5 weeks. It'll cover around 40 miles with over 20 lakes, and almost all of it is over 10,000'. Now I just have to figure out a shuttle or try my hand at hitch hiking to get to the other end...or maybe pick something more sane, but that would just be boring. Regardless, I am really excited to get up there, enjoy the mountains, and catch some fish!

Back from a weekend filled with wakeboarding, beer, wakesurfing, beer, 70 mph jetskis, beer, oh, and more beer. I need to sleep.

Damnit Craig, if you get to play at the JF and I don't I'm going to eat your whole head.

Just got back from a killer weekend in Buffalo with some college friends. It was crazy. Heading to Montreal tomorrow to work on... IF3 stuff!

Are you really winning anything when you have to pay your own green fee's? lol

Hurray! I get to golf with Ski industry insiders!!! (Woot woot)

(no i haven't actually summited anything yet I have a big test today at school so i'll throw my edit up in a couple days, i really didn't get to many shots. I may have to go potch a golf course at night or do some Urban golfing)

I'm cool with paying green fees. To be honest I don't really care that there's a tourney, I just feel like golfing with people I rarely (or never, in the case of Bishop) get to see. Unfortunately JF doesn't have too many spots apparently, so I'm gonna have to enter. I need someone to film though.

I'm absofuckinlutely stoked that I work across the street from Magic Hat brewery, am riding Jay Peak this year, can go to the bar w/my best friend over lunch, and fuck i'm just gonna stop now b/c this'll end up way too long of a message.

Stoked on the following:

1) Magic Hat beer is awesome
2) Skate 2 trailer

3) Poor Boyz East Coast Details

4) Seeing PHers in less than a month in Montreal

I'm absofuckinlutely jealous! Magic Hat roolz. And a good friend of mine lives down the road from the brewery. If you run into a Vanessa Laub, tell her Ashley says what up!

And congrats Sam!

best morning ever

woke up, had some crazy sex around 7am... passed back out wake up at 12 30, girl is gone to work already HURRAY!

ooooh the walk of shame! haha... i'm sorry but i did laugh at those girls the next morning walking by in their high heels and little dresses, hair fucked and makeup smeared. i'm such a bitch, but it was funny.

haha I laughed at them too. Mean? Pssh whatever. Id point and laugh at them too. Im cruel like that

Haha...funny its only the walk of shame for chicks...I'd just call up my buddy and tell him to meet me at the bar for breakfast. Though yeah living in the student district for 5 years was always funny to sit out in the morning on the patio having breakfast and see everyone coming and going from campus to the off campus area

If Morgan Freeman actually did the voiceover for that vid he is even more sweet than I had previously thought. If not, its a pretty good job copying it. Good vid, the voice and the line "Nature's cruelest double standard" definitely make it.

bahahaha i just watched that with my boss who said "lesley have you participated in the walk of shame?"

yes sir, every morning I walk down here is the walk of shame.
