dumping rain out, we have a tornado watch in effect, as well as a flood watch and flash flood watch, and severe weather watch, and we have heat lightning. it's fucking badass. I'm just sitting here watching it, surprised that I haven't lost power yet, cause I guess like half the state is out.
 
kinda, i have to work the next day as well as through the weekend but definitely go to some bars

real party is 4 or 5 days of december break in vegas. there is already a group of 9 going with more to join im sure. should be crazy

Wooo... I won my 2nd cash game of poker in a row. After I went to the casino and cashed out after breaking even. Went to the rippers after that, no dancers ended up exploiting me for my money. I had a myself a wicked night tonight.

There was a ridiculous storm last night, and it had already rained about 6 inches over the past 2 days. There were flash flood warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings.

Luckily I live on a hill, so no flooding here.

Sunny day, and I'm out of work at noon. Finally a nice weather day.

Comcast promotion for cable internet and digital on demand cable for $66/month for a full year. Dope price for sure.

Also stoked on gear talk and helping people out with tech questions.

well, seoul was a layover, and we just turned it into a stop, but im going to the olympics for a little bit, then sightseeing most of the time. dont worry, ill be sure to wear short cargo shorts, a camera around my neck, and socks with sandals. probably should pick up a t-shirt with the place im at too, just to complete the ensemble. anyone want a folex?
 
I got to swim with a baby Dall's porpoise. She was neonatal, still had umbilical chord attached, baby whiskers, back folds, everything. She washed up on shore, and shouldn't have survived more than a day. We were able to keep her alive more than a week. She died last Tuesday, but Im stoked I had the opportunity to swim, feed and earn about this lil gal...

This goddamned grill is givin me grief, cause 200 degrees requires both burners on 'low' and me manually adjusting the flow of gas, but the ribs are rubbed and have marinaded overnight. 6 racks of baby backs with a dry rub of brown sugar chili powder and tons of secret ingredients. Ohhhhhhh baby.
 
It isn't quite my job yet, but it could be very soon. I work in the administrative part of the Lab, but whenever we get stranded animals I'm on the list to help out. After 3 more years, I bet I could get into this kind of thing full time.
 
awesome 3 days of skiing, fucking pleased I made the call to skip uni on monday, no queues.. good snow.. ahhhh

also stoked with how much my gfs progressed so far this season.

haha i'm loving my anthems, skiing switch was never easier I'm making nice parallel turns down blue runs and going as fast as all the other people

its delicious. my best friend's uncle works for red bull, gave us a case, fo free! apparently they are selling it in vegas now and plan to release it elsewhere relatively soon

and its good with rum as well

Ahh, I couldn't even see that on the monitor here at work. I'm not sure if I like the sounds of it. Does it resemble red bull, or is it a completely new taste?
 
Just saved $100 bucks on the moving truck.

Basically, I did quotes for both, Penske wanted like $700, budget, $470. I locked in Budget. Penske had been calling me the past few days. I called them back, and they bettered Budget by $120.

$350+tax.

Dope-sauce. That's what happens when they have a truck sitting there and they wanted it out on the road.
 
its definitely not a full cola taste, but it didn't remind me a whole lot of red bull either. it has a bit of ginger ale/ ginger beer flavor to it
