gymnasty team for the 2008 Olympics [link to our gallery below]. All

but one of these precious angels were born and bred in Mid-West

America. Oddly enough, most of the great gymnasties have come from East

Europe or Middle America. How peculiar it is that such grace and beauty

sprouts from regions filled with guns, illiteracy, and silly haircuts.

Stoked because I just had a few friends up for the SILVEROXX race and it was sick! My division was totally stacked because of difficulties with the NORBA qualifications, so I ended up racing a bunch of people who should have been at least one division above me. Nevertheless, I managed a pretty good time in the jam session on saturday and took 4th today in the enduro downhill with a time of 15:28.3, which was exhausting at race speed. Now I am about ready to pass out! I'll have pictures of myself passing under the giant inflatable Red Bull arch here in a few days, so that should be radtastic. I even did a wheelie through it in the super D for the cameras, but ended up getting screwed over in that race...oh well. We also had about $70,000 in mountain bikes at my house, which was kind of disgusting--don't ever invite four bike mechanics over!
 
I'M HOME! Spent a week in the hospital after having my exploratory/preventative/corrective brain surgery, hah. The surgery went well, but I ended up having four seizures that night when it was over. They fixed me all up, and I did great the whole week after (except I was grumpy about being in the hospital and not able to run or do anything). But yeah, I'm alive and well, and everything's going great in that department now, yay!

I have a population counts and tagging to do all week for USFWS, which will be awesome! Super stoked to be working for them again, for sure.

A really good friend's coming to visit me from Colorado August 22-27, yay! We've known each other for years (in Alaska), and I haven't seen him in two years, so that'll be awesome.

One of my best friends is moving out here from Delaware in a week or two, which makes me super stoked. He, my best girlfriend, and I are moving into a house together (with a YARD) in the next month, which will be perfect for Ninja. I'm really sick of living above people.

 
Dude, I'm permanently stoked. For instance: banged the wife twice yesterday, my 6 mo. old just got two teeth, i'm home from volunteering at a summer camp, i've got a rad photo shoot in SF tomorrow...man, life is great!
 
Fiancee was at the outlets today, and I just got a text from her saying she bought me some surprises from the Oakley outlet store.

I fuck up making my coffee daily because I never measure out anything so its different every time.

Today though, everything came together in my thermos and as a result there has been a party in my mouth all morning. Sweetness indeed.
 
My uncle from winnipeg who I haven't seen in like 3 years is in town and as he's a huge flying buff tracked down a flight tour of ottawa on an old school, open cockpit bi plane and asked if I wanted to go along. Should be awesome!
 
Yay got to grab a bit to eat with scottness last night. :) Haven't seen him other than on here and facebook, for a good 7 or 8 years. Always fun to catch up and talk about vibrating massage gloves. ;) ahhaha.

Leavin tomorrow for Tahoe, and i'm so ready for a nature fix. :) Hiking, swimming, drinkin, smokin, rafting, hot tubin, mmmm so stoked!

Hope i don't miss too much round here... maybe i shouldn't go... what if ajay gets hit on by a 17 year old, or what if Ryno almost gets his house broken into, what if Lesley gets her appendix out, or Papa hooks up with his latina, or or or... what if Ash posts a picture of her ass?! What if crazyfuck says something offensive?! Oh wait all that shit already happened. haha. Love ya guys.

oh AND fucking stoked for IF3, it's finalized, i'm goin. And i owe Les and Ash big time for picking me up and giving me a ride from Albany. ROAD TRIP... watch out! ;) Can't wait to meet any y'all that are goin too. :) :) :)
 
I'm stoked on my new tat. took about 6 hours. doesn't look huge but it's 34 inches long and wraps around to the back of my shoulder

stoked on getting close to eating poutine the other night. It was more like pennsylvania style poutine.

So I make dinner, some good ole sheppards pie which for me is basically mashed potatos covered in browned venison and gravy. So I'm staring at this pile of potatos and gravy and I'm like maaaan this looks great, not even thinking that I could improve it, and that's when all the talk of poutine in here got me thinking. It got me thinking I NEEEEEED SOME F-ING CHEESE STAT. All we had was sliced cooper sharp but god damn, I threw like 4 slices on top of my steaming deergravy and that shit melted pronto. Bottom line, best sheppards pie of my life.

Oh ya we don't cheap out on the boxed mashers or any of that shit. Boiled taters smashed with butter and milk mmmmmmmm.
 
i went an hour early last night and they were still fucking sold out...ended up seeing hancock...meh...
 
boss gave me $100 to order 13 cell phone car chargers, said i could keep the change or pay the extra and didn't care if they were oem stuff or cheap knockoffs. we only need them for about two weeks so i went with the cheap ones, total came out to $58.18 including shipping. booyah, i just made $31.82 in 15 minutes

and i get to cruise ns all day, love my job right now
