Haha, STI's are nasty.

MR2's can be made into fast straight-line cars easily, but their prowess is in the turns, and the incredible weight distribution. If you know how to drive a MR car, it is one of the best handling cars. If you don't know how to drive an MR car, you will wrap the thing around a tree pretty quickly.

For a car from 1991 with nothing but a exhaust, intake and a MBC, high 13's is not too shabby though.
 
Yeah I drive a STI 22B.

Minus the STI. or the flared fenders. BUT the chassis and new suspension in it are the same!

Haha well its a long story but basically I got hammered the other night out with my boss and some other co-workers. THen he wanted to have a "talk" yesterday about it. So I was freakin out thinking that I said or did something I shouldnt have and I was going to get canned. Come to find out it was just the opposite
 
It could and has in the past for others. Thing is I over analyze shit to the 10th degree and came to the conclusion that I was probably getting fired. Like I said, just the opposite. He WONT and CANT fire me. He just wants to tap it now. So Im behaving
 
So my LBS charged me for the price of the X-7 SRAM triggers, yet outfitted me with the X-9's!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO stoked.
 
Got the bike back from the shop and was stoked to find out it ended up costing me less then I expected. Basically have an entirely new drive train plus a ton of other work for under $350
 
i just got a job. campaigning for obama. hours are kinda weird. 2-10 PM. oh well. i needed a job badly.

I paid $103, and got X-9 triggers, and a deraileur hanger that I didn't eve notice I had thrashed in the crash that did in other things. And here I though I just tweaked the adjustment on the deraileur itself.

No complaints seeing what x-9's should've cost alone.
 
Oh! So my 12 hour shift at the restaurant ended up being so siiiiiiiick. When I got there for the lunch party, I found out we were hosting for a bunch of lamborghini enthusiasts, who were doing this kick ass road rally. They started in the Pocono's with a 50 page thick direction book. A couple of them had no idea what state the were in. But I'll tell you, it was so incredibly sick to stand there and watch 20 some odd lambo's flying down the road and pull in. Turned me on fo sho.

A bunch of them were yellow and black, and seemed like they weren't personally owned. Just 'borrowed' for the rally. But some were def privately owned, and so sweet. I wish I had had my camera for you guys. So the last car, and sick ass lime green one is pulling into the restaurant, with the town cop behind him. Pulls him over on the side road, of course we're all watching out the window. Tells the cop he's going to the restaurant, and he tells him to go ahead in the parking lot, and they'll finish there (since they were kinda blocking the road) - and of course the cop had no idea what he was about to be greeted by.

He gets out of the car and had a "what....the....fuck" look on his face. So what does he do? GUESS. Pulls his SON out of the cop car, to take pictures and sit in the lambo's. Of course no ticket was given.

Anyway, crazy shit. Was sick as hell. Thought I'd share. It's not everyday you get to personally see 20 sexy as fuck lambo's just chillin'. Fuckin' hot.

In other stoked news I will be on a plain headed to South Africa in 6 hours.

following that I will be there for about 2 weeks and only taking one carry on. and most of that is camera gear. Stoke pics coming in 2 weeks.
 
Yes! Its finally returned to winter and theres snow on the way, snowmakings going full throttle too, they added about 180 new snow guns over the summer so now they can cover all the main trails in 48hrs. still need the natural stuff for the good skiing but at least you can ski with the gapers!
 
Ashley, did that crazy green lambo happen to have Alberta plates saying "1000 HP" ? Cause him and a bunch of other dudes were out from Alberta to go to the Grand Prix in Montréal 2 weeks ago. Not too much further down to NY.

Also, I'm personally stoked on my past weekend. Celebrated a friends birthday at a burlesque type show (dancing girls have really nice bums), played golf on saturday with my dad and brother and shot a 84 (2 over on the front, 10 over on the back though) went to Whis with the girlfriend that evening and went horsebacking riding for the first time yesterday, then did a little biking around the village trails and picked wildflowers. And I don't care how gay that seems, they are sweet ass flowers and smell nice. Plus I gave a boquet to my Mom and she was super happy. And I leave for Calgary (and Stampede!) in 4 days!
 
horseback riding and me dont get along...i swear to god they hate me.

first time i rode, the horse i was on wouldnt get out of this half-gallop it was doing and my balls got worked off the saddle for a solid hour and 1/2. Not good

Second time i went was in costa rica for a 4 1/2 hour horseback tour through the rainforest/mountians and it was even worse.

For starters the horse wouldn't respond to anything i was trying to get it to do (simple things like slow down, turn left, stop) which pissed me off since i no one else had problems with there horses. Then about a 1/4 way into the trip my horse decided outta the blue that being 1/2 way back in the pack was not its style and it busted into a full tilt run (almost tearing my legs off everyone elses horses as we plowed through the group) for about a kilometer before i figured out how to crash the motherfucker to stop (yes i crashed a horse...). I'd barely had any experience on a horse before this and I ended up doing a full speed wild west stylied charge through a rainforest, scary for me indeed. Then about 3/4 of the way through the trip the fucking thing freaks out and almost makes us fall off a cliff (one of his legs fell off the edge) which would have been a nice 200ft fall to rocks while being crushed by a horse. And then to top it off, at the end of the tour it decided another wild west charge was needed and what should have been a gental walk through a creek to the pickup area ended up in a full blow 'western movie chase scene' of me ripping through rivers like a hot knife through butter on the hellsteed.

I will say that going full tilt on a horse is a lot easier on the package and its kind exciting but i think i shaved a couple years off my life from the stress of my possible death...

oh yeah...and the people running the tour thought I was a trained horseback rider so they didnt really care about my pyscho horse...they thought it was me just given'r. I found that out afterwards...gotta love asumptions in a third world country...

She was super kick ass. Would be crazy if it was the same one!
 
Sounds like you got a sweet horse there Ryno! lol. Seriously though, that sucks. But what I do know is you gotta take charge of the horse right away. Show any sort of weakness and they will own you.

And if that Lambo was driven by a girl, it wasn't the same one cause I know that one from Alberta is is driven by a guy. I've seen him before in Vancouver with his friends from ZR Auto (Calgary people may have heard of them).

the trailer is quite amusing, i suppose i shall watch it, but hopefully it will break the oh so typical MSP mold for once, but i kinda doubt it
 
my sister was "hanging out with" some guy in montreal who drives a lambo. but he's actually from calgary and got it shipped out there while he's doing his MBA.

also why are you leaving for stampede so early? you know it doesnt start till next friday right? July 4th.
