it's not that crazy, i just went back to my old ways, the only thing that happened was that the space in my bed next to me was vacant so i thought it was a good idea to fill that empty spot.... with as many women as possible
 
Stoked for all sorts of things.

I'm home, for one thing. Nice to be back in my own bed and see my family (not that being awakened by Scott's roommate Ben and his girlfriend having sex with the door open wasn't the fulfillment of my wildest dreams).

On Christmas eve, in bounds, I had a pane of snow release a 10" crown on me, and then got flushed down this awesome 30 ft chute:

Somehow, the only thing that was wrong was my goggles got blasted off. So today, I went back to try to find them. Looking down the hill, and lo and behold there they were, framed by the trees, about 25 feet further down the hill than I went.

So I found my goggles, which had a 3 day old lens when I lost them. And they look like they got nibbled on a little bit by some chipmunks, but aside from that they are pristine for being in a pile of avie debris for 6 months.

I went to the top, just for the hell of it.

Then, as if all this wasn't enough, I went back down, and my local shop decided to mount my new skis on the spot. While this was going on, the Smith rep came in, the shop owner introduced me, and it looks like I'm going to get some free goggles from Smith. Sweet!

Then my mom cooked dinner. Such a kick ass day.

 
Stoked that i've finished exams and i have no university for 6 weeks - can't reinforce the stokedness enough (will be posting in the drunk thread after this). Although, i will probably be repeating a subject next semester as the exam i had today reinforced that murphy's law is infact, real.

I'm also stoked that the PH members are actually the only people that i give a shit about on this site (with the exception of maybe 20 people)

fyi, hood is going to blow chunks in september, timberline is pretty flat, and the park with be gone by then, except maybe a few rails.

Did the beers lead to spooning? And did the spooning lead to forking? And will the forking result in a promotion?
 
Bahahaha it could have but I turned him down for a ride home...instead I stumbled 10 blocks and almost peed myself
 
Hey now...I was drinking in honor of someone last night and it got a bit outta hand.

This bar we went to, Mahars, is all about beer. They had 1138 DIFFERENT kinds of beer. I has in heaven
 
Yesterday was my first time being there. I didnt know where it was. NOW I KNOW!!!!!!

It was awesome because I was the only girl in the entire joint. Talk about a sausage fest
 
I asked the bartender what they had on draft and he's like you never been here before huh? Nope sorry I havent. So he directs me to this computer in the back, press this button twice, hit this one and it'll print out all of the beers we have. 4 pages later.......I find my beer and it was gooooood.

They had beer from all over the world and priced pretty damn good too...well, mine was cheap. Though there were a few beers around the $10 mark. Not for me
 
So much stuff was had for the apartment.

We actually got a few duplicates, and are going to do some exchanges tonite and have about $80 to play with...

I'm thinking coffee-maker and knife set personally.
 
a sharp knife set is KEEEEY for a good kitchen. Nothing pisses me off more when I'm cooking then shitty knives.

And I am a demon in the kitchen, so a good knife set is NEEDED.

Trying to cut produce with a shitty knife set is just the worst.
 
Meh, I like it well enough. It's got some standard mods like intake and exhaust, I'm not taking it to a drag strip or anything. My bro used to run it for fun in Philly SCCA autocrosses with his buddies(civic hatchback and rx7), that is until he tossed it and wrecked the thing.

It's been sitting right there covered for about 3 or so years, he drove it now and again but never got it salvage titled. Now with lost proof of work, and lost paperwork it's gonna take a small miracle to get that thing legal again.

I drove it to the beach once and was running about 120 on the AC expressway, that's plenty fast for me.

You ever seen a chick black out the rims and run tires like that???

I like it and have had my eye on it ever since he brought it home in like 97 or 98.

It's got sentimental value through the roof to me, I can't tell ya how many times I've crapped my pants in the passenger seat while my brother was driving that thing. Also he loaned it to me once for the day, and I took my now GF of 7 years on our first date in that thing.
 
At my old place there was a parking lot next door that was kinda vacant and had a shotty old garage a little back from the road. I never thought much of it but I thought I could see a piece of a toyota sports car back there.

One day I drive by and there is like 30 older Supras parked with hoods open and dudes hanging out all over the place. One guy must work on his in there and they all have like a club meet there once a month or so. Being a toyota guy I loved it.
 
My MR2 was a hoot. (Yeah, I said hoot). It could turn on a dime, but would kill you if you overdrove it with snap oversteer. Great pick-up since it ran upper 13's in the 1/4 mile. Not fast, but plenty quick. T-Tops. MR engine/drivetrain layout, which was unique in it's own for an affordable car.

Most fun car to drive. Unfortunatly, I bought it after a swap had been done, and was unaware the wiring was a hackjob, and it quit on the side of the road a year after I bought it. Just turned off. No spark, definitely electrical. And I am nowhere near good enough with electronics to fix it.

It's been sitting since, looking pretty.
 
I tossed a crx that used to turn on a dime, back end kicked out on some black ice and I came back with it too much.

Sucks about the mr2, sounds like a nightmare trying to find the actual problem.

Wanna make bets on which one will take the longest to get back on the road???? My paperwork nightmare or your electrical conundrum???
 
Haha, I'm likely going to unload the MR2 for a loss.

Which sucks, because if it was running, I could turn a profit on the resale with their resale values increasing as they become more and more rare.
 
My buddy and I went for some chinese food last night and my fortune cookie's note said "Your knowledge will bring you too high places." I was stoked.
 
well here you go, 9999 posts. fuck this shit, I've spent way to much time on NS, but I got to meet a lot of cool people because of it, and learned a shit load about skiing. Here's to hitting 5 digits
 
haha last night a guy in a truboed mr2 attempted to race my buddy in his modded sti, little did he know my buddy is running a stage 3 turbo in his sti, smoked the kid, hahahaha, gotta love mr2's though, for what they are, they are completely legit
 
haha where's that list of top 50 NS contibutors? I think Phrosty was at the top of that for YEARS, if memory serves?
 
I recall looking at that list and going, 'dear god...i doubt i'll ever make it to 1000, let alone 4000!' which at the time was the highest post count i believe.

oh how times have changed :P
