The Stoked Thread

It's good but it isn't that big. You can only hit 4-5 jibs per run, which is kinda of lame. The pipe is fucking sick here! The park here compared to home is incredible though. There are a bunch of cool jibs but they need bigger rails. I can do every rail in the park no problem except one. The jumps make me pee myself a little bit though.

That looks like a wicked box to practice multiple kinks. Need to find something like that at Whistler. I love boxes, and finally getting better at them. In related news, my pistols have the dullest edges ever. Seriously, the hellbents I demoed carved like race skis in comparison.

In other stoked news, Scott has pressed his first pair of skis! Which means that the test protos are on their way soon. I know a bunch of you are in the on3p cult as well, and if you haven't checked out some of the updates recently, you should. I am amazed at the time and dedication he has been putting into this project.

Also, my brother is getting 194 Legend Pros with rossi axial2 200 XXL bindings and since we share the same BSL I will get to ride them. Woohoo!!

I haven't had a girlfriend for two years. I've had Legend Pros for two years. Is there a correlation? I think so.

I found my friend Oliver's stolen jacket today. I saw this kid who works in the cafeteria wearing the same jacket, and I took a peek at the elastic on the lower right of it (which Oliver said was broken, as well as wrote it down on the report), and what do ya know...it's broken too. I find Oliver, tell him I think I found it. He then grabs a security guard. Somehow the kid realized he was being sought after, and jetted. He was found later, and last I knew he was in the superintendents office. Felt like high school all over again. But, thanks to the kid for being a fucking retard, Oliver got his jacket back. And I got a nice big smooch on the cheek.

heh what a knob. you think he'd be smart enough not to wear it at work.. but obviously not. guess thats probably why he stole in the first place

stoked on the xgames footy on the net. and also the nz time zone. it essentially works out that its about 4 hours ahead of me, but yesterday. / im actually 20 hours ahead but its good I wake up in the morning, pick up the laptop and lie in bed watching x yippee!

Soooo... my boyfriend looks far sexier in braids than I do, hahaha. I found it pretty entertaining that his friend messaged it to me on my cell phone, so now I've got a new background.

So I finally got the box today, and am now really impressed with Dynastar. At first I thought they were retarded for sending a set of brakes in such a huge box, but then I opened it to find two entire baseplate assemblies--plastic/metal plates, FP arms, spring covers, and brakes. I'm a very happy boy now.

First ski done. Now to break it....well, still need to finish it, but then break it, and make more.

sweet.

compared to my 190 Igneous FFF. This pair is actually...the smallest I am making right now. 186cm 132/104/120.

Fuck yeah, Scott! I'm stoked for On3p!

Stoked that I went out with old friends tonight, even though we went to the shittiest bars ever, haha. Scene as fuckkk but got pretty drunk. Stoked that I'm going up to Seattle tomorrow afternoon to hang out with Rowen and go to Blue Oyster Cult!! Following day, I get to see Muffin Tits and NoTeefa. YEAH!

2 Things...

My Scratch BC's were shipped yesterday and are scheduled for delivery to me on Wednesday. Soooo stoked.

And today I am going XC skiing with my family. I haven't been XC skiing since I was like 12. I started XC when i was 2, but stopped once downhill bit me. And now I'm going again. Should be tons of fun!

They are 185cm '05-'06s, 98mm underfoot and extremely stiff. I've skied them, and they are incredible, all mountain

Jea Scott! That is so sick. Those skis are far too big for me, but props on doing this. You're a super hard worker.

I starting sessioning the pretty big Flat down rail here today and cleaned it every single time. I am one of the only skiers I have seen hitting it, so that made me feel good. By the end of the day, I hit it with some speed and did a huge shifty over the down section of the rail. So Baller! I also started hitting the down-flat-down here today and almost cleaned it. Laax's burliest rail probably, so I'm happy about my rail skills improving a lot this season. However, I still can't fucking jump well.

I'm sending my shock to PUSH on tuesday to get custom valved for my bike! So between my skis and this, I pretty much won't need girls around to have sexual experiences anymore.

sick sick sick ski day today at sunshine. it was storming and freezing in the city (-40 with windchill ish) but somehow only -5 and sunny in the mountains. so hardly anyone came out. blower pow, waist deep in places. first down the back door. so deep, so light. and a really fun crew to ride with. havent had this good of a day in alberta, ever. yay!

I played Guitar Hero for the first time tonight. The boys were really impressed. I have natural ability. And it's really addicting! God damn, I just wanted to keep playing. It was insane.

They're coming; give me a few minutes!

Oh yes, and Blue Oyster Cult was AMAZING! Rowen and I were the youngest ones there by at least a decade. The bassist formerly played for White Snake and Ozzy, so he was all '80s'd out. It was fucking rad. So many great solos and funny old people shaking their obscenely huge asses. The Godzilla song was probably my favorite, and that show was the tits! Too bad Rowen and I have no fucking clue how to work slot machines, hahahaha!

This weekend was awesome! I really needed this vacation away from Jimmy and everything, and Rowen did a great job of making it prime! I was spoiled by yummy food ala Rowen, and we went to four bars that were quite fun. The bartender at the Irish pub (he was very much Asian) was laughing at my impression of XC skiers, haha. I guess I make a lot of weird noises and such. Rowen is pretty much one of the raddest people ever, and I'm really stoked that I got to have an awesome weekend with him!

Classes were canceled today and all the college offices were closed due to the HUGE amount of snow we got in the last 24 hours. This is fucking awesome!

Don't be such a Nancy. Do you remember the winter we had last year? The one that started in January? At least we have snow this year. My mountain was open before Thanksgiving. And I had plenty of powder days in the beginning of the year.

NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!NANCY!

:P

I don't know what all of you East guys are complaining about. I live East of the Mississippi and we just got 20 inches last week.
