Well, best and first bona fide pow day of my life, which isn't saying much.
I was at Dodge Ridge, and for those of you who don't know, it's a small resort in between tahoe and yosemite.
Showed up, and there was NO ONE there. Some tracks, but not many. Most everyone was scared away by the blizzard.
2 feet of absolutely wonderful cold powder snow. My dad and I had 3 or 4 descents in virgin stuff.
Some caveats: center-mounted AR6s and I do not ski well in pow. They killed in the crud, or maybe I had gotten used to it by the end of the day. Dodge is also really not steep, so speed was an issue in the freshies.
All in all, a great day. I'll post the two pics we took later.
