My friend just asked me if I want to go to VT for a weekend but I'm broke after my dumb exhaust costing me $700 so i can't swing it.

Well, considering lift tickets alone are $50 a day, at least $150 for food, gas and lifts.

i did that once in college. im sure im going to hell for it but it was sweet. i told people i needed to get to Florida because my grandmother was sick and i ended up getting about $100..then one of the RAs found out so i grabbed all of my friends and took them out to the bars to "get rid of the evidence".

It's warming up this weekend. The fucking bullshit rain is going to return. Shit for Baker, worse for the Vancouver Locals, and it will create one hell of a melt/freeze layer at Whis. We need cold temps Ullr! COLD TEMPS!!!

I'm wicked pumped on the upcoming forecast. Still staying positive about a Thanksgiving weekend opening for WNY skiing.

Im pumped to get out and finally ski. Im sooooooooo stoked. Winter time here at the office is crazy. Luckily everyone understands that the winter is my time and thats what I save my vacation time for. So all is good. Im just glad that I get the day off with nothing on the calendar which means no phone calls during the day! Yes! I rock!
 
As of today, I have 109.97 hours of personal time off that I need to burn up by the time I leave for good at the end of July.

I plan on taking a lot of time off this winter on various days, and they are aware that this will be occuring.

We'll get some for sure. I'm hoping it's enough to earn turns Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon.

Too early to say. Lake effect snow is just way too unpredictable to call snowfall totals a few days in advance.
 
your model looks good. was that your progress or your final product?

i am also majoring in architecture. it is fun. i am all done with STUDIOS finally haha, that means no more all nighters in there. all i have do now is take architecture electives and some other classes then i wont have to worry about homework anymore

most of the architecture programs, the first year is usually theory and abstract stuff not much literal and for this reason is to help develop your concept better (i dont like it, but i had to follow it). Every year you will learn more and more and start designing more literal projects, but they really enforce what your concept is.

Thanks! That's good to know when I'm going to be telling a bunch of professors why I did everything in a week. This was the final model, but I also capped all the edges in white musem board before turning it in so it looked nicer. I actually really enjoy all the abstract work, so first year hasn't been bad so far aside from never sleeping.

My fiance is back from her week in San Francisco! It's kind of sad. Longest we had been apart ever in 5 years, haha. I was incredibly bored while she was gone.
 
Awesome! I hear the higher elevations of Vermont will be seing a good dosage of natural snow the next few days. not a major storm, but a few inches of great base-building snow!

We've got lake effect snows that will be firing up later today. A foot or more is forecasted for Holiday Valley thru tomorrow evening. It'll be thick, wet slush snow too.
 
thats where my post was when its raining. But hell i I need is an in run and a patch to land on for a rail, so i'm stoked. Glad I can jib at least a little. But its almost thanksgiving any way, we always have snow by then.

hopefully it works its way up here. i would really like not to have to go into work tonight. ive already pulled 3 14hr days this week and im freakin fried the fuck out.
 
working at the firm all day and then heading to ems to work until about 10 or so. im burning the candle at both ends right now and its taking a toll on me.

i had a closing out of the office yesterday for a $250,000 house..the fuckin buyer never had the money wired into the account giving me some excuse that his daugther who lives in CA was supposed to take care of it and then brings me a check for a $147 and proceeded to flip out on me because i wouldnt close the deal. fuck you dude $147 does not get you a house. so i packed my shit up and left.

so basically ive been working from 7-7:30 til about 5:30 here at the office then i bounce over to ems and work there from 6-10. S.U.C.K.S. but i have to keep telling myself the benefits are so worth it
