longboarding looks like so much fun. i should give it a try but id have to wear full body armor as protection. gotta keep the grill intact ya know
 
We did two, and it's a complete mess. 5-6 inches of slush basically. I'm skiing this afternoon because I've got nothing better to do. I don't really care about skiing much right now because it blows around here anyways.

Never thought I'd say it, but where's spring and the warm weather? I wanna bike.
 
Lots of rain monday-tuesday which means all the dirt and shit will be cleaned off the roads...longboard season will offically commence!
 
I'm going to start longboarding this summer. So many roads around here will be perfect for it. And I'll have the cash for it too. Stoked.
 
Tons of things:

Spring Break,

Learned a ton of new tricks at the park,

Went surfing and rode my first two bona fide waves ever,

Got my learner's permit,

Got hired as a student assistant at the Long Marine Lab, a job I will probably have for the next 3 to 4 years,

Graduated docent training so I am now volunteering for real at the Long Marine Lab.

All in a week. Stoked.

Whoh it's been a while since I've been in PH!

Stoked I got the longboard out for the first couple runs last week! Probably getting a crew around and slashing hills all summer out here.

Also stoked I just took a bunch of dope photos; been far too long since I did that.
 
Just got back from Michael Franti and Spearhead concert. I can't hear a damn thing,it was a sick venue, amazing concert, cute female friend flew out for it, sooooo amazing, best concert of my life, so dope. came back to shower and change, now going to afterparty at a friends house. Uber stoke
 
Saw a Matt Good acoustic show last night. There were about 300-400 people there, and it was tits.

Love Matt Good, and love his acoustic shit.

Bought that Cannondale Jekyll. All stoked on bike action now. It's pretty much brand new. Not even any sign of wear on the tires. Shifts like a dream.

Sunny and 40 today too, great way to closeout the season.
 
Alright, so I said that the night before last I hooked up with the hottest chick of my life. True. Last night though, I topped it times one million. This girl is 100% Sweedish and barely speaks English. So ridiculously retardedly retarded hot. So stoked! She wants me to come hang out with her later, so we'll see if anything exciting happens.

Only downside is that I have made myself a reputation at this bar I always go to as being a little "sketchy" for hooking up with so many different girls in the last week. Uh oh!
 
STOKED on getting out skiing today (my 4th day this season on hill...sad i know) since it was the last day for the hill.

Did the pong skim and got all the way across...stoke!

felt super smooth in the park for not riding it in over a year and having a sprained ankle still (found out the hard way today when i fell)...stoke!

super baller weather...bluebird and no coat riding weather...stoke!

i'm just pumped on a good day

STOKED!!!

Skied Bromley on Saturday. I hadnt been there in years...like 15+ years so I totally forgot how this mountain was. Add about 10inches of pow to that and fuckin shit man I was in heaven. Bromley is my new favorite mountain. Skied Plunge first off which consisted of some tight and steep ass trees and a bunch of rocks to jump off of then we made it over to Avalanche to ski those. We basically skied everything in sight. It was such a kick ass with the sun shining and the stoke meter off the hook!

Yesterday was basically the same but at Mt. Snow. Great conditions, tons of sunshine and now my gog tan is fierce. SUper fierce
 
^ Glad you had such a good time! Next time you head over there, you should PM skodeo. That's his home mountain. Can't go wrong when you put two stoners together on a mountain full of powder.
 
Shit. I knew someone on here skied there but I forgot who.

Funny thing is, I wasnt planning on skiing at all Saturday after I bagged the Belleayre trip. So Friday night I went over to my girls house for some booze and food and got a call from my buddy Dean (tele guy from your kneck of the woods) and he says "Bromley tomorrow. Be there" and hung up. So I hurried up and got home, ran to the laundrymat to wash my clothes, popped back home and waxed up my skis and finally made it to bed around 1 am. Got up at 5:30 and hit the road. Dean and I made to the lot at the same time! Muhahahaa

It was such a kick ass day. I really feel in love with Bromley. Such an all around kick ass place!
 
I am in shock.... I applied to a university in australia for a DOCTORATE of physiotherapy. I had all the prerequisites but it was still kind of a joke. The program is 20 students total, ONE of which is an international student. Well, I got an interview. It's on Thursday evening. But they said they want to do it asap so that I can start on the visa application process. Sooo yeah I'm kind of shaking right now. But so extremely stoked I can't even believe it. This is pretty much my life goal. So I have to do everything I can to nail this interview. Sucks it has to be over the phone and not face to face. Theyre sending me more info on the interview in a bit so I'll post that later to see if anyone here can give me some tips. Oh and if I get in I start orientation on May 8th.
 
yeah I do. I live in Sydney, but quite a few of my mates from high school went to Bond and loved it!!
 
Pictures are coming, so I'll stave off the vivid details for now. Spring Break = Death Valley and Moab in one week, via car with three other guys.

I will say this though - we came back over I-90 sunday morning at 4 am. Pissing down snow, the pass got 12" overnight or something and we were caught in the middle of it. Empty ass roads, thick snow, one subie impreza with dudes that were road crazy from driving 16 straight hours. So yes, we did doughnuts on I-90 and then proceeded to road skate for a mile. Haha, soooo crazy.

But back at home now, attending my last class I'll ever have at UW. Its about bugs, should be fun. I held a 4 inch long millipede today. After class got out I decided to take matters into my own hands. I bought my friends 30 gallon fish tank, $90 of plants and materials and made my own jungle terrarium. I just bought some Ghost Mantises too, $45 for 3 nymphs. They get about 3 inches long and are crazy camoflauged. So yeah, I'll have giant preying mantises in my room to play with now. Terrariums are sweet. I think I might get some frogs or something and maybe get an orchid forest going if I have success with this one. Pics on the way, it sucks not having a digital camera. But in the meantime, heres what I've got in the mail as of today:

Dunno what colors I'll get, they apparently have a wide variation of patterns and such.
 
I just downloaded the Safari web browser for windows. I love it. I can't wait to buy my MacBook.

Also, as of today, it is now illegal to smoke within 3 metres of the entrance to a public building, a window, or air duct in the province of British Columbia. That rises to 6 metres (almost 20 feet!) in the city of Vancouver. Also, smoking on all pulbic patios in the City of Vancouver has also been banned. I can't fucking wait for summer. Best patio year ever.
 
Thats been true in the great state of Washingtonia for a few years now (25ft). really nice when you are finaly able to go out to nice diner and breath at the same time.

they over did it though, some bars and cigar shops should be able to allow smoking.
 
Yeah they did the bar/club ban a while ago, but always left patios out of it. Thank god its now in place.

Another reason to be stoked, there is a possibiltiy I can do 4 deals on Robson street TODAY. Fucking sweet.
 
I just had a brain boost and pumped out the essay for the UBC supplemental that I had not been able to think out well, and got it submitted.... 6 minutes before it was due. sweet.
