The State of Hiphop?

I like the attention Hopsin is getting now, he has been on the rise for I guess a year now and it's sick to see someone work so hard and finally get some real recognition.
 
Last year was a great year for hiphop. Wu Massacre, Kill Devil Hills, Nineteen Ninety Now, Enter the Magical Mystery Chambers. Four good albums in one year is way more than we usually get.
 
OFWG sucks ass, my old roommate played that shit all the time and its annoying as hell. So are all their stupid offshoot groups. Nas is dope but I don't care about him any more, I just continue to bump Illmatic. Also I did not hear about that album.
 
I don't care what Wu Tang thinks about them, I've heard a LOT if not all their music, and 85-90% of it is unlistenable. One of the guys sounds like ODB if he had down syndrome. Occasionally they do have a good track but literally most of it isn't even recognizable as music. Like, I don't like Kanye West, or Common, or Lupe Fiasco or any oh that hipster rap nonsense. But Jesus, I would listen to fucking Little Wayne over that OFWG bullshit. Its like the William Shatner performing Rocket Man of hiphop.

 
Oh man, im not saying i love em or anything. Just compared to whats out there these days there makin music that I can listen to and enjoy as a mainstream artist. Unlike wiz, mac , drake etc. I actually like a lil bit of wayne when hes not on the stephen hawking voice.

NAS is still my favorite.

I let it slide when you listed the albums you listed, 1990-Now was the only good album out of those. Kill Devil Hills meh I just don't like Ill Bill but to each his own-and I don't care about Odd Future cause I don't like them either but saying Common is hipster rap nonsense? FOH
 
Hey man Wu Massacre was good and Enter the Magical Mystery Chambers was probably the best mashup album I've ever heard. Its what mashup albums should be.

 
who the fuck are you? OF sucks! don't even compare them to wu. and for everyone who doesn't seem to realize how great 36 chambers is, or supreme clientele, cuban linx, etc... can you really tell me you think OF is better quality than that stuff? average OF fan, am i correct? - never listened to hip-hop before OF and now has become a self-proclaimed expert? lolz
