The snowpack in Austria?

Hey guys, I'm still trying to decide if I should go skiing with my school to Austria.

My problem is that I'm going in mid April, to the sportwelt amade region.

Can anyone shed some light on what the snow is generally like that time of year?

its actually pretty hard to say anything on this matter unless you have more specific resort names you are going to. As fas as I know sportwelt amade is a pretty big collection of different resort. There will be resort where the snow in april is gonna be pretty decent, but I guess you will also find some where it just sucks.If you have closer info on the exact resort, I guess we could help you wayyyy better!
 
its should be allright. its going to be slushy but still rideable. ofcourse it always depends on how much snow falls this winter and how the spring temps will be, but generally lifts are open till end of april -mid of may.
 
Kinda re-thinking it, teacher won't give us resort names. :<

Thinking of getting skis, poles and boots. Supposed to be a ton of snow in the UK! :D
