The Snow Situation

Fuck Guys my season ended March 8 in St. Louis, 10 inches of snowfall this winter, most of you guys get that overnight every few weeks

it snowed in minneapolis today!! you could see white in the grass for about 10 minutes and then it was gone. heaviest snowfall of the season (sarcasm but slightly serious).

People do not understand that there are good winters and shitty winters. Just because this winter was shit, doesnt mean that every winter from now on is going to be like this or it is Global warming.

This winter wasn't shit. Maybe for the west, but the east has had record snowfalls all over the place. In fact this has been one of the BEST winters IMO in a long time.

Utah was pretty OK compared to the likes of the west coast or PNW. It wasn't blower every week but we also weren't stuck to groomers either. I definitely get why you guys are a bit frustrated, though. It was brutal seeing zero snow in the 10-day forecast all year. The handful of fresh days were very worthwhile though. I've personally skied the deepest snow in my life this year and that's a pretty cool thing to be able to say when this is the "worst season ever" according to the record books and everything else.

What is going on! To begin with the upper midwest didnt start out with much snow ever this year and now its all melting. I love to ski in 40 and above degree weather, but not now. Not already. Think of the Urban, the little backcountry that one hits here. Last weekend I am willing to bet I went on what may be my last semi legit urban adventure.

Regardless of the snow melting its super fun to shred when its warm. When the snow is soft and the hyph is real. Just wondering whats up with the snow conditions other places. I know some places closed but not sure of much else.

if your interested tyrol basin has a spring jam this saturday and thats down by madison

Well Im from Calgary and it rarely gets above -10 degrees in the winter, and is completely snow covered from November to the end of March. This winter it was plus 10 for most of January, and all of the snow melted in Febuary. So it was pretty shit for me.

1. NS has a Save The Snow fundraiser(give stickers, T-shirts, bucket hats, sweatshirts, ect. for differing donations, like a kickstarter campaign)

2. Donate 80% of the money raised to POW(Protect Our Winters foundation) or other fund raisers

3. Let our children and grandchildren have snow!!
