We need this. Loon today was looking very skimpy. grass everywhere. they could only groom like 3 of the 7 trails
 
Hell yeah for a foot of snow and a couple days of skiing!!!!! and then more 60 degree weather.

I guess thats better than nothing though.
 
Wisconsin was about 7 degrees away from getting two feet of snow in the last three days. Would have been a legendary winter, just missed it. I haven't been this excited for snowmaking ever.

Mount Bohemia is going to get fucking buried in lake-effect.
 
The weekend will be really cold and perfect, but then it goes up to the 60's the week after.

It's just a teaser
 
Yup. Not gonna get consistently cold until at least the middle of January. Its warming back up after this weekend.

Yup sorry for the bad news but its all gone, and these "cold temps" are literally lows of 25 degrees for 2 days, last year it was under 20 all threw december and then even lower in january

Yeah I get that El Niño is a factor...but we are smashing records by 5-6 degrees here and it's got me worried

Good thing I'll be out in Northern California for a while

It might be getting cold for a few days but its still not enough for my home mountain to get anything open before it gets warm again.
 
Yeah its not even gonna be worth trying to blow snow. I thought this was just a little warm front and was like "oh in a week the ground well be frozen" but no Im still wearing shorts and a t shirt at school. Its suppose to rain on christmas (as of now) and thats just fucked. Last year I heard "oh yeah the east coast is gonna have a great winter" and now towards october i heard it was gonna be warmer, yup theyre right. My mountain blew snow a few days before thanksgiving and they blew a good amount, almost enough to open but now theyres very few patches....Almost a month later..

Anyone in PC or Breck have a spare bedroom? I can provide sexual favors (women are prefered)
 
The fact that you look and base stuff off accuweather is embarrassing.

This weekend will bring 3 days of cold and snowmaking to the east with some lake effect to areas that no one cares about. This will be after another rain event tomorrow. So after two rain events and warm for weeks all ski resorts are pretty much starting from scratch.

Then we warm up again. And then the Christmas rain storm comes that no model run has changed for 3 days now...
 
i accuweather is right northern nh is going to have a good winter but temperatures are going to drop first week of January

I hope so because I bought a season pass there and was planning a trip this December. No snow no go
