The ski tour on tv...

are they even broadcasting it in the montain time zone? I looked at abc's broadcast schedule today and couldn't find it listed anywhere

there was no slopestyle, and the was the worst halfpipe coverage ever, they tried to edit it like a ski movie, no chrowd noise, just announcers and bad music

did anyone in canada get this feed?

I got the honda sessions snowboard slopestyle and rail jam.... followed by ski aerials...

i thought to coverage was horrible... who cares about the musicians... and enough honda commercials for a year.. good to see cr hangin out.

neeto... woulda been nice to see the comp. but highlights on national tv will do. how shitty is hinder? fuckin posers.

that pipe is TIIIIIIIIINY!!!!

After getting used to 22 foot walls, looking at the sun valley pipe... well it looks super grom.

petes double flat is super nice, when he gets some grabs in on that... itll be official.

(well more official)

I cant get over the smallness of the pipe. Im gonna go ride ours... and feel lucky.

bye bye

perspective.

yeh, thisd be awesome if it was the usfo, but its still skiing, its still on reg tv at a decent time (im in BC, just got home from the hill and its on - stoked.

he ski tour is SO aggro. hinder? 3 days grace? swollen members? get with the times, those bands probably charged out the ass to play, and they are terribly uninspired investments from an organizational point of view. the worst part is that they took up a suprisingly large part of the 1 hour session showing love to the bands.

but at the end of the day, it's good that the actual skiing side of things looks to have gone off well in the media spotlight.

Ski Tour is Wack, Mike Riddle should have won. Also that band that just played the song I love Pain is fuckin terrible. why would you ever book a some shitty ass emo band for Ski Tour. The Wailers and Swollen members were siiiick, but honestly if you are trying to capture the world of skiing, modern rock bands and emo shit is not what you book. No one likes or listens to that shit. One good thing was CR johnson and Shane Anderson doin the commentatin they know whats up

It was pretty cool. Most of the bands were terrible though. CR is a funny commentator/reporter, but that's not saying I would be any better. Overall, cool to see on national TV.

My biggest problem with this was the fact that they even HAD live bands broadcast performances during a fucking ski comp in an effort to make the whole thing more scene. I've really had it with the whole attitude ESPN has towards XXXTREME SNOWSPORTS, as they apparently see us and snowboarding. Let me run it, hell, let ANYONE who doesn't see snowsports as a gatorade commercial run it, and I guarantee you it'll look legitimate. Some sparkly-eyed blonde girl named Lindsay yelling above crowd noise as if she's stuck in a hurricane, about how Swollen Members is "pumping out some sick tunes", sure as hell isn't doing it right now.

I checked it out....The band pretty much sucked.. ive never heared of em' but the skiing half pipe seg was fun to watch.

Props to Honda for supporting a large Halfpipe ski comp. and fest. More of this needs to happen by large sponsors.

i dont think they have it in mountin time zone... although in my search i discovered that winter X games classics is on espn classic right now for anyone that has it... i dont :(

i looked on my tv guide and it wasn't listed.. i got home at like 3 and checked and there was nothing, im on the east coast.. did it end at 3 for east coast?
