why is it 40 dollars a year? is it a huge mag or what the hell, because freeskier is so much cheaper.

^^it super expensive cause they print it on high quality paper, have fewer ads than other mags, and its a small company. its worth it though. i got my copy a while ago and the articles are super good.

Freeskier: cheap, dirty, AIDS infested thai hooker, with crack rocks as nipple jewellery, driving around in a fucking ford tempo with elans ducttaped to the roof.
The Ski Journal: clean, friendly, hot, white escort with columbia's finest nose candy sprinkled all over her, cruising the sea-to-sky in her hybrid Lexus SUV, with a roofrack full of Armadas.
Who would you pay to fuck?
Why $40? Limited distribution, less ads, better paper, better pictures, stories about things OTHER THAN vail/aspen parties, and no shit written by people who can't spell.

The snowboard journal was actually produced by another company: Future media, wich was illegally ussing a trademark owned by Frequency. Intsead of spending $$$ to take them to court, Frequency decided to start a ski mag. The snowboard journal ended up going out of business on its own.
Freqency and The Ski Journal are independent mags published by skiers / snowboarders for skiers / snowboarders. We are not just another cog in the time warner empire like some of the other mags......
