definatly family guy, simpsons while good sort of is struggling for good funny shows. Family has random spontaneous stuff that makes it so funny

Many people found Family Guy offensive. Those same people are the ones who didn't 'get it' and complained a lot. If you find one of those people, punch them in the face, then give them a swift kick to the crotch. Or vice-versa. Family Guy owned, and still owns to this day. Although the Simpsons are still quite good.

I love both but I think if I had to choose it would be The Simpsons. The Family Guy is hilarious but I think that they would have run out of material a lot sooner than the Simpsons. I don't know for sure though...it would be interesting to see if they ever started making more family guy episodes.

 
see the difference is that family guy has yet to run out of material, while the simpsons started repeating the same old shit over and over again a while ago. don't get me wrong, the same old shit is pretty funny, but dosn't compare to family guy.

Haha, yeah, Futurama beats them both! While I feel Simpsons is overall better than family guy, they've really gone downhill with it. The episodes are still sorta funny, but it seems like they ditched all the witty humor and just started making episodes entirely about homer getting hurt or something. So if the contest was between new simpsons and family guy, i would have to say family guy.

Futurama is a joke compared to the simpsons and family guy. Simpsons for the incredible number of episodes but family guy over all for the completely random humor

family guy and the simpsons are both written and drawn by the same people. the only thing that makes family buy funnier is that Seth MacFarlen (family guy creator) is alot less constricting of his writers that Matt Groaning. Family Guy is a lot funnier and the concept never got old. And the reason it got canceled is it got a crappy time slot with most of its target audiance unable to watch it. The simpsons has the perfect time slot and everyone who it targets is able to watch it.

family guy and the simpsons are not drawn by the same people. Matt Groening draws the simpsons. Futurama and the simpsons are the same artists. I'd say Family Guy is funnier than the simpsons.

the first simpsons episodes sucked, and so do all of the new ones. they have been sucking for a few years now. homers voice got whiney for some reason. family guy destroys those simpsons episodes, easy.

the simpsons still has funnier quotes. more memorable. family guy doesnt have too many memorable quotes. yep.
