It seems that the quality of the simpsons has gone down progressively over time. The funny thing is that it was originally a show for adults, and now it is targeted at children. I just find it kind of stupid now..., but some episodes are prety good.

the show is just getting tired...you can only do a subject a certain number of times. Apparently this may be the last season....(duh duh duuuuh)

Oh, and the best episode ever is the 'frank grimes' episode.

Do you guys remember family guy? That show was as funny or funnier than the simpsons at times. I don't know why they canceled it. Some people say that the simpsons gets less funny but if you watch the old ones those arent that funny. Simpsons are sweet though.

The cool thing about the simpsons is that they have a lot of hidden puns. If oyu know a lot about history you can find them. Like 'The French Don't Even have a Word For Victory'.

i find that when i'm watching a new one, i'm trying so hard to find funny things about it, therefore i'm much too analytical.. but then when i see it a second or third time, i don't really care as much, and it seems that much funnier.

the moral here - just relax, smoke a bong before the new episode, and laugh your ass off.

 
The good ol' days of the Simpsons is when they had bigger eyes and there was basically no plot to the episodes, just a bunch of stupid shit. Those were the days.

the fake news one was hilarious. I love the simpsons, such a great show, and even though they are progressing downhill with their comedy relief factor, it is still one of the funniest shows out there.

I like the one where they go to the Steel factory and its all gay guys and they do that big sing along at break time. 'Hot stuff coming through' haha, that still cracks me up. There are so many good episodes.

That was pretty funny. That would be so fun to live in like a grocery store or better yet a mall. Kinda like the simpsons where Bart And Milshouse sneak into the mall and sleep there. Thats a good one.

A whole bunch of terrible posts here...and some acceptable ones. THe fact is that the simpsons is the greatest show ever created. I guarantee that there is not another show that anyone can name as many characters...and funny characters too. Also, the show was best when Conan O'Brien was writing.

My fav. episode is probably the Beer Barron one and I agree that this season has been pretty weak, but the episode from 1/12 was one of the best i have seeen....hilarious.

 
Yeah Conan is the man... the REALLY old episodes were only so-so... and the new ones are okay, but the semi new ones are the best....
