The secret to creating viral videos

Just doing some research here, and I have found out that you truly can't predict what the next viral video is going to be and you can't just make one. It just has to happen randomly.

But say there was a set of rules to make a viral video. What would they be? Just Curious as to what people may think they would be.

The biggest thing is probably the title. It has to be simple and straight to the point of what the video is, like... "FAIL: CRAZY SKIER FLIPS OVER FENCE", for example.

I believe timing is pretty key, a video becomes viral by people sharing it with others so I guess it has to be something people want to show others. Thats all I got.

Timing, title, something people haven't seen before and almost 100% by accident. This is an example of a semi-viral video I made and it was totally by accident. It's of a 2012 Kawasaki 450 basically shitting itself. (motor shattering)

The key to it getting ass loads of views is this took place in 2011 right when the 12's came out. I titled it "Kaboom". The only reason I even made a video was so the kids dad could see the bike blow up. It just so happened that I had 2 cameras on it. The video got 70,000 views over night on vimeo and is creeping up on 800,000 views on youtube (I put it on youtube a year later)

The fuck are you talking about? Nathan Fielder and Jimmy Kimmel both made a fake viral video.

well yeah, I didn't say it was easy.

"The video took the students 400 hours to create."

"Everything that is animal related and baby related are super popular so we tried to bring both together and make something extraordinary that wouldn't happen every day."
