The Right Ski Size?

hey guys, this year i am getting dumonts but im not sure what size....Ive been sking the 166 foils last year and im still only about 5'7". Im a senior in HS and prob not gonna grow much more. But im wondering if i should go with the 171 dumont or the original 176? The 171 is like exactly my height and the 176 is over my head. Im worried with a bit of a longer ski though that skiing rails and switch ups/spinning on will be harder? idk what do you guys think i should do?

personaly i would go with the 176, and there will be alot of people tell you to search bar this too, just a warning hahaha

i hate long skis, ^ he likes long skis. a lot of people jump on the bandwagon of longskis are better, but i dont think they are. 171 or smaller

i am 5'9 and i have 181's go for the 176 honestly 2 cm tip and tail wont do anything bad

def 176 it not much bigger at all, it will give you more stababilty, i jumps from a 165 to a 178 when i was 5'6 and liked the 178 alot more

dude 171 for sure. if you arent gonna be growing much, and they are mostly park skis please get 171s. i got 172s this year and im 5'9" and they are a little below my head but they will be perfect. i cant wait. go 171...

If the 171's are the same height as you, go for them.

From what I've been informed and what has worked for me, a park ski should be from eye's to top of head.

If your skiin park then you dont need long, get something aruond eyebrows. If your going to be ridin the mountian and pow pow most of the time get big. It is mostly what your going to be riding.

its alot to do with preferance...i would say dont go shorter then the 171 but im 5'7 and in grade 11 and would go for the 176...but i like the feel and stapability of a longer ski as well since im only in the park 50% of the time im on the hill so lots of things come into play...how tall were ur 166 foils on u when u skied on them? were u comfterble with that size on ur height? answers to those 2 questions could help

umm i was about that same 5'7" and they came up to like foreheadish level, i just didnt really like the ski much for park.
