''The RIAA will soon have the right to hack into computers and erase any material that is copyrighted. I don't have a link to this and I doubt you will find anything on it. I got this info from a close friend that works for a very large IT company that is developing it. He say's it will be coming soon so be prepared.'' this guy in a forum on www.punktorrents.com

you can also go to jail for 3 years if you share your music, click here

People that have like 15 000 songs are at risk, I suppose (and at very little risk). I have like 50 songs, I delete them once they're burned onto CD's and then extract them back to my computer if I want them on my comp, so there is no risk of getting selected by the RIAA.

Actually guys, the RIAA has hired multiple hacker groups to write undetectable trojans to embedd in mp3s and wma files (I think those are the only two formats, not positive though) that automatically collect data about your music library and licenses and then sends it back to the server you got it from. (blocking ports won't work, the only way to block it would be to not share any files, since the server requests to download the file once it is on your computer and collects the data. i guess the only way to stop it would be to stop sharing, but if you stop than there will be however many less files to download and that severely hinders the network's capability...)

There used to be a lot about it on hack in the box and some other sites, but i haven't seen anything for a while. Maybe a year or so.

The RIAA cannot delete files though. If that were to be passed, you could deffinetely sue their asses for multiple things...

that will never happen. It's illegal on so many levels. dont' worry about it. The RIAA has screwed themselves over so badly already anyways.
