yep i've got my last university exam in 5 days..fucked if i know what i'm going to do after that (apart from joining those in the daily grind..)

Or, you go to college for something you want to pursue. Like ones passion. Skiing. That's what I'm doing, and after, I'm going to be working at a ski resort and hopefully going to be at a management level some day. Who knows, but I know I'll be doing what I love, and nothing less.

same shit, you'll be working in an office. If you want an on hill job good luck breaking 35k. The OP is pretty much right, once you start spending money on shit like houses and boats you gotta stay in the rat race. But at least you can surf newschoolers on the clock.

Wait... are you trolling or you are predicting your own future maybe? Lets see here possibility of me living in a suburban home or working in an office... yep zero. Thanks!~

i cant wait to be really old. i can be as crazy as i want and no one will say anything/think differently. im just a crazy old man.

Honestly, life if what you make it. If you're going to be pessimistic in your portrayal of how you expect life to be, then it will most likely be fairly shitty. Personally, I have some pretty cool things planned for when I grad that are far from the notion of the desk-jobbing-suburbia-living-minivan-driving-ball and chain life that plagues so many North Americans. If you want something, push for it, and don't settle for less.

funny thing is it actually took alot of my friends actually going to college, to realize they just want to go skiing.

Well I'm sorry your life is going to suck, but I can't possibly imagine how a fighter pilot with a beautiful wife who skis and skydives with him on the weekends is not going to enjoy the family and home he built with his own hands. I'm not far from it....!

When I graduated College I got a sick job, which is exciting, challenging, and progressive not to mention pays really well. THEN I BOUGHT A SNOWMOBILE. You just have to know what you wanna do with your hustle. If you want to fucking move into the 'burbs and give up. Good For you. But i'm telling you, the next step in my progression as a skier has come b/c of my job. Graduating College is sorta like making that really long hike up the top of a ridgeline. WHen you get to the top. there are lots of options for you to take, point your skis and go.

Yo exactly, having a real job that pays good money opens a whole new world as far as traveling and equipment. Plus, especially if your going to be working in utah or colorado, skiing is the new golf as far as meetings go, so there should be one workday for skiing every week! :) haha

I think you have life after college confused with life after having children.

I've been done with college for a while now and my life is nothing like you described. Actually, the only difference between before and after is I don't have homework and I actually have money. (unlike when I was in college)

Well, my Dad started out working for something he didn't like doing. Yes, he makes good pay, but he is not happy with his job. Even if I don't make that much money, I will always be happy. Plus I'm in a Ski Resort Operation and Management program and I have a work term for my 4th semester, where the instructors help us get a job at a resort. I'm currently looking at snowmaking/ grooming operations. So I won't be at a desk all day.

this thread sucks, your life may suck dude but don't try and pin that shit on the rest of us. pick your sorry ass up and stop complaining

yeh i'm not going to do any of that and i'm going to be richer then 85% of you. you can do anything you possibly want. you are a monkey that ate meat and grew a brain and emotions. if you really think life is limited to that you deserve that piece of shit lifeline.

I just need to find a way to get health insurance when I graduate that doesn't involve paying $10G+ a year or working for some shitty corporation.
