What is the reason you ski... i posted this same message on freeskier.com and the reason that most came up was girls.. if you ski for the girls so should fuck off..

 
this has been done before, and i dont believe girls was the number one answer.

i ski to be different i dont like following ive skied since i was little and i stuck with it...almost everybody in my skool boards except 4 me and 3 of my friends.

Not to sound redundant, but I ski because its fun. There are few things in life that compare, not even sex is as good. (unless its with sam caylor on a gondola)

I ski because I love it. I love the fact that I can have the worst day ever, then go out and ski and I don't even care and everything that was so bad before skiing is now gone and I'm not even thinking about it. I love the fact that when I'm learning new stuff I scare myself and have to overcome fear. I love the feeling of an excape from everything, where it's one thing and only one thing, and the one thing that I really love.

i ski cuz its fun. i skiied over snowboarding i skied first andf stuck with it i live in anchorage and like 90 percent of highschoolers here snowobard 88 percent suck and the other 2 percent ride for boarderline.

stupid lil 13 yr olds following the trend.

Skiing is coming back but were already there. were good.

It takes school off my head lets my fears and adrenaline running and just the feeling of hitting a jump to attempt a cork or bflip is a crazy feeling.

about the anchorage snowboarders- I have never heard truer words. They all think that hilltop has steeps and that the North Face is 'just for pros'.

i ski because its so much fuckin fun and i love to be original in the park when im the only skier hiking and everyone else is a snowboarder. Skiing to me is like nothin else off season. With snowboarding you have surfing,skateboarding, and mtn boarding and skiboarding you have inlines but with skiing there is nothin that can compare.

I ski beacuase it is my own sense of freedom. I have noone telling wat or wat not to do, im fukin free. The adrenaline u get huckin a cliff, skiing pow, or rippin by ppl on the cordoroi is fukin amazin. I often pity those who cant share the experience of skiing, I have so much passion for this sport...Fuk it is not a sport, its a lifestyle, of which i could NOT live without. Skiing helps you meet the fukin radest people on earth, where the only guidlin u have to follow is that ur dedicated. And thosse who ski on a regular basis, try their fukin damndest and spend hours on sites like ns.com are dedicated. Props to skiing, and every single fukin person out their living their lives on the slopes.

because I love waking up at the crack of dawn on the weekends and scraping off my car then driving an hour to the hill dealing with all those crappy ass drivers...Seriously, I love to ski because it's all about freedom. You don't ever have to stress about work, hell you don't even have to think about anything other than the task at hand ... pure escape from the pressures of daily life...

i ski because when i am on the mountain, everything else on my mind just vanishes. when i ski, im out there with my friends just having a good time. skiing is extemely fun. if i didnt ski, i would have nothing to look forward to all summer. if i didnt ski, winters would be boring
