depends where you get caught in it, doesn't look to be that big of a crown, but it propagated across a long stretch of the ridge.

I'm surprised that was steep enough to slide. The Shuksun/Arm slide is scary looking, that whole runout is somewhat of a terrain trap.

to start the fact a majority of your snow base is man made... and that it's only reason number one. i got nothing wrong with people who live there. but if youre an outdoor person, hiking, skiing, camping, biking pick a coast. preferably go west. the mountains only get better.
