I actually walked out of the cinema for the first time in my life today. I went to see it because it had Will Ferrell in it, but jeeeeez, i found it so frustrating, one damn unfunny song after another.

i have to say, i got dragged to the broadway musical in 8th grade for a school trip, but it was one of the funniest things i have ever seen. i am not one to like any broadway musicals, but this shit was hilarious. i heard that the movie was lousy because will farrell overdid it and the rest was kinda corny

I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen the musical (so amazingly funny) and I'm going to assume that your taste in humor goes something like this:

-Nut shot (FUCK MAN THAT WAS AWESOME LOLZ!!11!!1!@!22!)

-Head shot (LOLZ again MAN!1! That guy got PWNT!

Slapstick humor is not funny, it is stupid.

Maybe its a North American thing to find that film funny. Skaski, you cant just assume what my sense of humour is like, i just dont find stuff like a guy acting just plain childish with his blanket funny. And what was with the songs? as soon as one would finish, another would start. It just seemed like they were trying too hard to be silly and it just didnt seem natural.

Ferrel's part was the only bearable bit, but i still didnt really find it that funny. But come on, the 2 main actors were just so annoying.

However, the second half of the film could have been incredible, but i will never know, as i walked out. There you go, maybe the film just isnt suited to a British auidience.

I'd have to agree here. And I did end up seeing the movie...blah, pretty not that great. The musical was just so much better. I didn't know it was so strained for a laugh, I apologize.

Hostel=Most Awfully stupid movie ever made.
