from the time you are a little P.O.S. american baby this fake thing called teamwork is enstilled into our minds.. teamwork teaches us to work together and all this fake B.S. and is the cause that most of you are useless and can't take care of your selves and require countless goverment programs all because your were taught someone will take care of you.

well lets try this thing called personal responsibility.... it works by not relying on others and doing your own shit.

If you want to talk about lack of worth ethic in this country, it's the result of parents not giving a shit and not instilling the importance of quality work ethic in their children. Not teamwork, which is an extremely important skill to have. Everyone just has to be pulling their own weight in the team.

At least we're not like many socialist european countries that are largely run by the government. We are still able to run on the capitalist system, and whatever programs you're bashing are necessary for those who are less successful. It's not about the programs, it's about the people who are running them, and their ability to make them effective.
I agree that we are becoming too dependent on our gov't, which makes terrible decisions, but I don't see the relevance of teaching people to work together in any degree of failure we've had. It's called integrety, unity, and loyalty and I only see positive things coming from all of those traits.

Ya except those countries are in much better economic condition and have higher literacy rates, unemployment rates and better standards of living. Seems like your capitalist system is really killing it dude.

Teamwork =/= relying on others. It's working with other people in a conjoined effort to accomplished goal. A lot of the time, it is an efficient way of accomplishing a goal. Yes, there's sometimes is someone in the group who just skates by, but those people are eventually weeded out. This is not the problem with America, nice try though...
 
not the point of my post. just trying to point out the fact that government programs aren't as prominent here. I did say that the success of a program depends on those running it, I support government programs, but not the people america has in place to make decisions. I'm not waiving around my american flag, just saying that the 'value of teamwork relating to our failure' claim is the most absurd statement I've ever heard...

Humans by nature are social beings. Every major accomplishment can be translated from past cultures efforts or from a society working as a group. Thus 'team work' or humans working together towards a common goal represents the foundation of human achievement, success, and well being. I don't understand how you think america would be a better place if it was everyone for themselves.

Your logical is weak... people who are on welfare are not 'team' players as they are not contributing towards the betterment of society. (or they have genuine issues that require help from others) Thus your argument is an issue of lack of teamwork.

Imagine if medical researchers work with each other to find cures instead of competing to be the first with a market patient.

Imagine if democrats and republicans worked together to solve our problems instead of trying to tear the other side down.

Your logical is severely flawed.

society is fucked because people don't give a fuck about each other. as in a tribe, a country needs to work together to get things done. for example, if your farmers didn't work to feed the country, you would starve. further more, personal responsibility is taking responsibility for your actions, i.e. if you smash your neighbors car, you fess up and leave your number or ring their doorbell in order to solve the problem. the lack of personal responsibility in modern society is due to the lack of interest in working as a team, or feeling like you don't need anybody else, or that you just don't give a fuck really.

by the way, it's spelled hurt. if americans worked together to improve public schools, you might have a shot at decent grammar.

i hope you're a troll, otherwise, i hope you can cook and give good head, or at least live in some remote community where you will never affect anyone.
