The pope is just a human body like the rest of us, he is going to get sick and will die. I wonder if he has to pay taxes?? If he does die will we have another pope that skied?? serious questions to poder.

God (the catholic God) doesn't control the world, so how could he GIVe the pope a disease, if God controlled the world we would have no free will, free will is what makes us human.

I know several catholics who don't agree with the popacy, It wasn't instituted by jesus. basically was made up by the first pope in an effort to gain power of the europen countries back in the pre-medevil times. The pope is a joke.

If you look into history you will find that popes were crooked from the beginning.

The earlier popes would claim the only way to heaven was to give up all possessions and wealth to the church.

stixonmtholly - the pope is exempt from taxes as well as most any other federal laws because he lives outside of it. He resides in the Vatican - smallest country. The country is just big enough to encompass his property.

yeah my argument is/will always be, God doesn't 'let' anyone do anything. God 'gave us' free will, it's our life and we can do what we please, that is if you believe in god.
