Anyway, you can get into trouble for being out past your curfew. I have a friend who drove past curfew and he got into so much shit.
 
shiiit for some reason there have been tons of police in the neighborhood lately and curfew ends in 45 another night on NS!!! yaaaay
 
I got picked up when I was 8 for being out @ 1:00 and all the cop did was take me home. I don't think its worth it for them to fill out the paperwork.
 
theres two kinds of po around here.

first you have jefferson, small force chill guys. only here to serve and protect. very lenient on everything. they do their job right.

then you have pleasant hills cops. if they see you out past curfew, 11pm, they will chase you. through the woods, through neighborhoods. if you say fuck it, and dont wanna run and just chill and not aggrivate them like you should be able to, they get that stupid condesending pig voice and start feeding you bullshit. oooh look the stupid one of the group, hahaha shoulda run boy all your friends got away. then they take you down to the station which is fucking far away from everything. sometimes theyll raise a big stink about it and file the report so that you have to go to court. but if theyre feeling lazy and havent documented anything yet theyll just say ok well let you off scot free but you have to walk home. say yeah, you have to walk three fucking miles or catch a ride. say no they process you.
 
I dont think we have a cuurfew, at least I have never been busted by one. I do know that someone with only a learners perit is only allowed to drive untill 12am. But besides that i dont think theres anything
 
In a way it makes sense but should not apply to anyone over like 14. Think about it, if a kid is abducted at night when his parents think he's in bed dreaming about candy and video games at 1:00am, there are still 6 hours before the parents wake up and realize their kid is missing. That's 6 hours for the abductor to get away.

And in the US where there are so many people that are downright fucked up in the head, stuff like this is commonplace.

But I think people over 14 who are not just out wandering are more responsible and less likely to be abducted because they're fast runners, smart thinkers (most of the time), and know their neighbourhood/city.

There are no curfews where I'm from, but then again I lived in an incredible neighbourhood where nothing bad ever really happened. Plus my friends live in the neighbourhood so if I decide after a party I want to sleep in my own bed instead of someones floor, I can just walk home.
 
curfews are super strict round here if your sixteen you gotta be home before 11 and if your under 18 its like 1am i think
 
haha u guys have curfews in your towns? thats so beat we dont have anything like that. I was buying a bliz at 2am last night waiting around this store to get someone to buy it for me and the cops rolled by like 5 times but dont say a thing

Thats soo fucking fasict, you see that in the movies like I,robot, and v for vendetta, WTf? you guys actually have this shit where you live? I would stand up against that for sure, thats such an imposement on your rights for no apparent good reason.   -- maybe if there was a war on and the place was bombed at night so they wnated you to be inside to be safe.  Anyways thats soo  fucked, fight that shit.    
 
when i was 14 it used to be 11 p.m. the only time they would really care is if it was around 12ish, a couple times me and my friends had to get driven home. they don't get mad, they just don't want anything to happen. fairly gay that they have curfews though.
 
yah its weird, i live in Portlnad, Oregon a pretty liberal town if i do say so myself, but the curfew is midnight for people under 18 and my parents freak out if i come in anytime after 12 and shit has been weird around here, as i mentioned earlier, way more cops than normal. o well im 18 in a month, but still its terrible to not be able to hang out
 
for everyone who is freaking about nazi germany, the curfews in question are only for people under 18, which sucks, but is somewhat understandable. I don't think my town has a curfew, but in massachusetts it's illegal to drive between midnight and 5 AM if you're under 18.
 
I'm in canada and the curfew here is 11 or 12 I think.. we don't care though, the cops don't really bother you if they see you unless you look young or something
 
To the guy who started this thread...not sure where you live, but in Ontario there is a curfew for those under 16yrs. Gotta be home by midnight or you may get a ticket (and techinically arrested because they would take you home), and your parents could also be charged.

 
they have a new curfew in my county for minors

11pm during the week Midnight on Weekends.

its mad ghey, and the cops suck more now.
 
in bizzzend its like ah... 10 o clock curfew and gay... i got taken home at 1 in da morning and they gave me a warning
 
im not too sure if theres a curfew where i live. one time, me and my friends decided to go out skating at like, 2 in the morning and ended up running from the cops, but then ive been out kinda late (actually, not too late, like 11) just driving with my friends, and never been bothered.
