really? wow I didn't know that, I was skiing the whole weekend and it wasn't snowing at all on the drive home. Maybe it started later, but that's SICK.

And i have to miss all of it because i go to costa rica on thursday
 
My home mountain got POUNDED with 30 inches today bitches. I was gonna go ski but the highway was closed to avy control and blizzard conditions with gusts of 80mph. Disappointing but Saturday will be EPIC.
 
Yeah dude the storm hit stevens hard. Then a convergence set up right over it and has been PUKING all day. God what i wouldnt give to be up there tomorrow. Weekday with 30+ fresh on top of the 100 inches frmo last week. God damn it, fuck school! God damn tests and accounting project.
 
is this about crested butte? no its about the fucking pnw which is getting way more snow than colorado right now so stfu.
 
This winter is insane. Alta averaged 6 inches of snow per day for every day in january.
 
Exactly what I was gonna say. Who the hell does this guy think he is? Fuck Crested Butte, the PNW is so much better right now. If the PNW were a skier, it would be killin' it like no other. I cant wait for Saturday! Bustin out the powder cords most def.
 
i love how outside of the locals to the PNW, it never gets any love.
Its like everyone misses out on the most snow in the country.
I dont know sometimes its just beyond me why people never listen the the locals up there.
I mean does anything sit back and take in the though that the PNW has the only 2 resorts in North America to have summer riding?

Wouldnt have it any other way. I dont want a bunch of tourists up here. Ive ridden Hood in the summer, its fun stuff. I love the PNW.
 
You living under a rock? It showed it's face for a few minutes earlier this week. And I do mean just a few minutes.
 
The BC interior got hit pretty hard, 2 highways are closed due to avys, and avy warnings are high to extreme right now for the backcountry. Silverstar got a foot last night, and I missed what would've been one of the best days of the season so far because of school. But we're supposed to get more in the next couple of days, and I might skip tommorow so it's all good.

Worst avy conditions in around 20 years according to NWAC. Yikes. Thank goodness the roads and hills are closed.
