i want to make another thread that shows people with questions what ski size or DIN or mounting or anything like that.

So put your height/weight/skier type/% park to all mountain/ and binding set

I'll start

5'6'' 159-164 II 60/40 -2 and +1

please no shit talk

''the perfect ski size for you'' ... so shouldnt you include your ski size/ length as well in this thread? kinda seems pointless without it.

that just looked like you height.

''So put your height/weight/skier type/% park to all mountain/ and binding set'' - quote

doesnt say ski length there or anything so just assumed it was you weight. needs to be a bit more clearer but i like the idea

6', 170 lbs. 40%park/pipe, 60% all mountain/powder 164 cm skis, bindings set at +5 (from farthest back mounting point) din 8, skier type: II-III

5'11 180 lbs, type III skier, 70% park, 185 Scratch BC/ 171 salomon 1080 and din i think 12

5'8", 165 lbs, skier type III, 181 thugs at center mount- din of 9 179 MR at -2 from true- din on 8 171 t halls at true- din of 8

5'11'', 150 pounds. 176 skis, 20 park 80 all mountain, bindings mounted at modern(I think +2 form traditional) Din setting of 9 on s14s

6-2' 210# type- (80% park- 20% haulin ass through the trees gettin gto the park) i ride 177's that i knwo is small- buying 187's may be too big... oh well centermounting them

5'10" 67kgs about 150lbs, 178 Amplid antidogma -2cm from true centre (park groomers) and 185 ARV -4.5cm from true centre for pow

yes so people that are new and have questions can refer to this thread not have to make a new one and ask

you just match your height and weight and will show you your size

wont worker. too many variances in ability, location, etc. Although it would be nice if someone could make a general chart a little more up to date with more specific info, perhaps like this

this chart would probably be agreed upon if it was about 15cm longer for each category, and included height and ability

So put your height/weight/skier type/% park to all mountain/ and binding set

6', 200 pounds, 181 and 182 skis, type 3, 95% park, true center din of at least 11

6'0'', 180 lbs, two sets of skis both are 181cm, one centermounted, one -4cm from center. Din 8 on the park skis, 10 on the all mountain skis

Ahh, well then:

6'4"

160lbs

185 ARV, mounted close to center

DIN will totally depend on boot-sole length, but I think mIne is currently 8-toe, 10-heel.

5'10"/170-180/III/All mt.-Big mt.-pow-pinch of park-going rally fast/depends on the ski to where i'd mount but around -6ish/my din is around 9/188 moment ruby

This thread is stupid. everyone is different. Both height and weight, but also skill level, location, type of skiing, and even personal preference. Plus the size and flex of the ski is important. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs, and regularly ride 179s, two different 186s, 189s, and a 192. All are great skis, but used for such different types of skiing/snow.

There is no perfect ski size, sorry to burst your bubble.

True, I just put what I currently have...that way if someone wants to look...they can? I don't really know what this thread is all about, or how it's supposed to work.

yeah just put your information down and i was hoping it would help someone new to freeskiing or with questions about skis for them

Troof, it all depends on the person. And what are the chances of anyone looking in this thread and finding someone with the same exact height, weight, etc.. and like ^^ said, it depends on the skis what length you need.

5'5" 150lbs. skier type 3+, 35%park 65% all mtn, skis: 181 -1 from center for park/ dickin around 179 at traditional mount for everything else
