this happenend like two years ago but i was just thinking of it and i thought it was funny. yes you read the title right. a river caught on fire. it was in new jersey of course. it had so many chemicals and other shit in it that when somebody tossed a ciggarette in the water it caught on fire. pretty rigodamndiculus huh?

I've never seen a river or lake catch on fire, but last night I was making Ice cream, and I thought it would be cool if it were flaming, so I took some of my folks Brandy and started pouring it, while the match was lit. So I got a little in the bowl, and I light it up, while I was still pouring. It flamed up the pouring brandy right into the bottle and the bottle started flaming. I couldnt put it out, so I just poured it down the sink while the water was running. Now I just have to wait until my parents realize that they dont have anymore brandy...

wasnt there an oil spill that caught on fire. and on real tv when they boats catch on fire a lot of times the water stays on fire

 
We learned about burning rivers last year is school. I forget which river, one i had never heard of in the midwest, caught on fire like 30 years ago. People noticed chemicals were bad and they started earth day because of this

this aint a great shot but all i could find. this is the passaic on fire. you can see the glow of it in the reflection, i think the fire is on the other side of the boats.

Actually Lake Erie never caught on fire to who ever said that. The Cuyahoga river, which either feeds into or is fed by the lake I don't remember, caught on fire. There was so much oil and chemicals in it that it evenually caught on fire. That was like 20 years ago though. Its a lot better now.

 
yeah , the Cuyahoga river is now the joke of....every body of water, ever.

Then again, I live in ohio. boy, i'm ghey.

and some 151 fire breathing, but i don't know where they are, if i find em ill upload them
