HOt of the presses people! KBs park is opening today at 12! I will be there today, and will post pictures tonight!
 
Oh man steve just called me while hes there and things are sounded sooooo goood im sooo fired up! 3 jump line sounds DEEEECENT! More updates to come.
 
Stopping home quick to update the masses...

Lets just say it is good enough to get me to have car trouble today and not make it in to work...

3 jump line, decent air off them. Real decent air actually. They are VERY nicely built. Wide takeoffs. 35-45 footers, with a money booter with at least 50 footer or so. All hits have options. Large mellow taekoff, or smaller, floatier airs.

There is a nice little butter pad setup. Rails are all setup very nicely. C-box looks pretty.

Flat box and those rails are still over on Holly, but I'm guessing they'll move them over soon.

I'll snap some photos quick today of all the features and post them up.
 
i'd say its close to that. i didn't pace it by any means. But I'd say she ranks in around 50 feet.

Eh, it was so much better this morning for some reason. The 2nd table has no landing, and is too short. I land soooo low every time.
 
yeh hype let down biiig time, that las tjump is def. not a 50 footer, none pof these jumps have landings so basicly the jumps suck in my opion, rail set ups are nice and i love the butter pad... or is it margerine? but ya the jumps are garbage in my opion...
 
Well no pictures for you people, caaaause steev cant uplaod his, and i was to lazy to bust my camera so jea.... i dunno steves will be up soon for those of u who wont have made it there before we post them... the jumps are pooo anyways.
 
i def agree that the landings are too short but it is sick that they have dual take offs and the jumps arn't that bad. and on a good day it has good flow. Its atleast a decent park
 
Not today my friends. lol, the snow was insanely sticky. Or maybe I should wax my skis. But straighlining the second kicker, I just made it to the landing. (This was towards the night, the new snow they got was horrible though, reallly really sticky. I could face downhill, and not move.)
 
it had better be decent when i go. as long as the landings dont blow out my dying edge ill be kind of happy.
 
The flow kinda has park.....if people would ride that way, but i havent seen one person flow through that park they all stp and get in the way...im going ot enjoy what we have for the rest of this year, but fuck the USA and its power gayness, i shant be skiing in it again.
 
theres kids on that blog complaining that the jumps are too big. if they cut down the jumps because of that..i probably wont do anything, but ill be mad.

why is it so hard for kids to get it into their head that if the jumps look too big for you, you shouldn't be there. there is a mini park for that.
 
Soo today at Kb, im going to say im very impressed that they have a very very nice rail line, both Cs are up, the rainbow box is up inplace of the fuf, so you u could be hitting 5 jibbs in one run, and there plenty of room after that flat box, i can see that line being extended. jea jea
 
sick, ill be there next saturday or sunday. i haven't skied in too weeks. never thought i would be excited for kb
 
i probably will, are you gunna go?i dont have too much money, about 3 tickets worth, unless i can find another person to get me an employee pass thing. i might go saturday too.
 
mich is racing on the weekend at Holimont so i may ride at holiday on the weekend or at KB, but i will def be at Kb on monday, and Kenton may be able to get you in Wednesday night ,becaiset hat is when he works
 
I want to go to HOliday so bad this weekend. It's fucked up, my parents say sence it's Mardis Gras at Holiday I cant go since it's going to be real busy. I'm like, that's the point, tons of chicks...arg.
 
make it seem like you are going to kb. then right as you are pulling in throw a fake out, burn out and speed off to holiday. then you can tell the grrrlz how you are an amazing daredevil driver. then ask them to make out. it can't fail.
 
haha, the thing is, my future (93.2% chance, lol) girlfriend will be there, and I was hoping on seeing her again, cause she lives in freaking, arcade. So yea, I'm pissed, and no, I can't fake it out, cause i have to watch my damn brothers, I'll be there with my little brother trying to teach him rails at the age of 8 though. lol. Come say hi, give him tips, seriously, he'll feel important.
 
sick, no more holiday for me either. my friend is getting me a pass to kb sunday.

pfttt. It is MUCH better than it has been the past few years if you ask me.

The landings are rough though. But when has WNY had ANY good landings?
 
I concur.

I actually think KB's set-up this year rivals Holiday's, and it for sure blows HOlimont out of the water. So yea, leave WNY then.
 
it takes so much work to get speed for that jump, and i think they should make the take off on it like the one on the second one. other than that it isn't too bad condidering the lack of snow. the rail setups impressed me, except for the flat box. why did they have to make that part where it kinks down slightly part of the kicker.

the thing that really upset me though was the wallride. what they have there now is just a waste of snow that could be put to better use somehwere else.
 
jumps are so so i like the rail line like i said before, and that wall ride, basocly just on e of those things that takes tons and tons of work to keep it use able, and we all know how much maintanece work is done at kb...
 
big air comp the 18th? b ready ill be homeeeee, tell them im coming home maybe theyll make the park better
 
I'd say it's a 45 footer.

The thing that worries me is all the snowboarders LOVE the smaller middle jump.

And I can see them doing something gay like holding the comp on the smaller table.
 
...not to mention the wonderful WNY weather that we're supposed to get towards the end of this week.
 
yea neffer that is me. i skied with u and scott and cton and tim last year. i wasn't very good. but i got better.

how long u in town for
 
eh, 45 is kind of generous. sure as hell doesn't feel anything like 45.

im in town till sunday...not sure how much more im gunna be able to ski though. im running out of money.
 
id say its easily 45 feet, thing is that means nothing its all about how its built you could make a 30 footer a gazzillion times bigger than that jump. Build them up not out...
