This really makes me curious about the situation in which this was done. Because you can easily die from castration. There is a huge amount of blood flow down there.

it was never a competition, they just thought "pain olympics" was a catchy name.
as for the motives, all of the castration/cutting off dick/finger amputation people did whaever they did because they didnt want balls/a dick/a finger anymore. why? its entirely too complex to go into, but falls under the general banner of "dysmorphia" - thinking theres something fundamentally with your body or image.

ok so it appears there are more than a couple different videos from the pain olympic series floating around. the one i was talking about was a best-of montage, and the one that comes up as the 1st google result is something else. still from the same site, but more of an indepth look into a pair of castrations
