The "other half" of "Get Lucky"

I happened upon a snowboard movie called Notes the other day. Aside from having downright dirty snowboarding, I noticed that a good portion (~72%) of the movie was filmed at the same time as Get Lucky, on the same features, with the same cameras. Whenever I'm watching snowboard movies I always think about what skiers would do on the rails jumps and jibs in the movie. Im positive I'll be flamed for my next comment being as this is NS, but does anyone else ever wonder what boarders would do when watching ski movies? I often do, and man did I get lucky (laaaame pun) with the movie Notes, as my wish came true. If anyone out there has some extra dough, pick up Notes by Factor Films.

What order did you watch the movies in? It would be cool to watch Notes first then Get Lucky and compare.

its kind of like rage films (skiing) and nc productions (snowboarding) which are both out of bend oregon. i've seen both rage's such as life and nc's almost dead. they have the same park shoots, a lot of the same urban and a lot of stuff in bend. i always like to see urban that i live nearby in movies. i think its really cool.
 
i enjoyed that but haven't seen get lucky yet so can't comment on the similarities yet. i must say though, as good as Notes is as a film, i thought factor films' movie from last year- Up in the Sky was better. it is maybe one of my favorite snowboard movies ever and has such a fun vibe to it, plus it had the immortal line:

"the 10 kink rail went: down; flat down; flat down; flat down;flat down; flat down... sick rail."

and...

[pingu] "hey, check this out, it's technine motherfucka!"

[other pingu] "you are so gangster!"

I'm not sure what your trying to say, but Get Lucky was a fucking sick movie. For sure a contender for my favorite ski movie of the year.
 
I live near lot of those streetrails in get lucky and notes.. that doublekink in notes is outside my school.

Eiki, Halldor and Gulli KILLS rails in Notes. Iceland got the sickest snowboarders by far at the moment. Be sure to check out Eiki's part in the Rome SDS movie if you haven't already. Pure insanity.
